This might be the gut punch loss that kills my lingering optimism

I don't know if this would be considered optimism but I have to think that they will play better than the recent stretch. I mean, they played lights out good in May and June. Surely they will stop playing lights out terrible! I still think that they could sneak into the playoffs and maybe even win 90 games. Okay, maybe that is optimistic.

Also, I'm looking forward to Harrison's next turn in the rotation. I think he'll do better than today's game.

Yeah, it's a crap cycle but it's not like it's impossible to end. We may look back on this as the rough patch we came back from...
