I would accept some pitching so-so-ness.

Though, in order to have any chance to win, I suspect we will need some HOF level pitching effectiveness.

I guess this all but assures that we will lose, 10-0, and get one hit in his first ever complete game.

I honestly think these guys just need to come together and it will take time. Coaching staff is almost all new, JHL, new, Chapman, New, Soler, new, Snell, new. That’s a lot of new personalities to throw into a clubhouse. It’s painful right now, but I do think if they can sneak into the playoffs they’ll be scary.

1) The Giants have played 12 games, and in 8 of those games they have 0 or 1 hits with RISP (hitting a robust .195 with RISP)

2) The team is hitting .226/.300/.345

3) The team has allowed 13 first inning runs in 12 games

4) The team has no stolen bases, caught stealing 3 times, and picked off 3 more times

5) 40 walks/95 K's

6) Starters are averaging 5.14 innings/start, that should improve

7) Bullpen has inherited 16 runners, and has allowed 7 of them to score.

8) Team ERA is 5.42, worst in baseball save for the Rockies at 6.71, that has gotta come down.

But it is early.
