Those SHOULD be unearned (logically, not by how the rule is implimented)…

If Chasey doesn’t muff that grounder, Murphy is out, 2 outs. Then the gb by Pillar is a simple ground out rather than a fielders choice. 3 outs.

Javy just mentioned they are unearned, but I think he is wrong. The box shows them earned, and I think that is accurate (again, logically, I believe they should be unearned, but the rule says differently, I think)

The official box has been updated to show runs as unearned. Maybe the rule is more flexible than I thought…

Giants' offense the past two days, to the pitching staff: "Hey, we've scored more than 1 run two days in a row! Surely, you can win these games!"

Pitching staff in return: "We are so exhausted from these close games you force that we don't have the gas to shut down an actual major league offensive club."

Giants' offense: "What a bunch of greedy self players. What do they expect from us, a bunch of MLB caliber hitting?"

Brainstorm idea…

If a pitcher hits 2 batters in the same inning, he is ejected immediately, but the replacement pitcher is allowed injury-time to warm up. There needs to be protection for batters going against a guy who has no idea where the ball is going.

No out juice, and all this team could muster was 1 RWI.

Takeaway: Giant can score runs if they don't swing.
