I changed that pitcher status you asked about.

In the future, send me a message or email. I'm afraid with the Chat, I might not see it or be shitfaced and not remember.
10-4. Thanks.

I used to love those Hungry Man TV dinners. Also Lunchables.

I can't imagine eating that shit these days.

Yeah, my kids eat stuff that I know for a fact I used to love when I was their age, and now it flat-out disgusts me. They're all like, "Hey dad, try this, it's really good!" And when I tell them why I don't want to, they burst into tears.

That makes me feel sad.

This didn't really strike me until I got older...if that's what she was doing, I hope she got some joy out of it. My parents hated each other and that poor woman had a damned hard life in general, so she deserved to have some guy appreciate her for a while.

Word.

I remember all my home alone favorites like:

hot dogs
fried egg sammich
mac-n-cheez
ramen noodles
cup-a-soup
hungry jack instant taters

and many others. Really prepared me for dorm life and bachelorhood in my early 20's

Things got easier when we got our first microwave a few years after that. We even figured out how to make steaks in the thing...they were kinda grey and rubbery, but, hey, steak! Had some kind of special hot plate we'd heat up by itself in the uwave to sear the meat.

You like that? Here's more:

Many expected the Red Sox to have a wicked pissah of an offense, but their OPS ranks 14th of 15 AL teams. Combine that with a pitching staff that ranks 14th of 15 AL teams and they're lucky they haven't lost more games. Their run differential suggests they should be 16-22.

The good news is Rock said they've got three pitchers in the minors that no one's heard of just waiting to be called up, so everything should be fine.

Wow. This is all true. I don't know why that offense hasn't been as good as expected. Ortiz and Napoli could stand to wake up.

I expected the offense to score a shitton of runs. That's the big head-scratcher for me, although there is still a lot of time.

Ortiz is 39. One of these years he's going to cease to be productive.

The team's OPS+ is 87. Fucking crazy.

Wow. That is hard to believe. I'm pretty sure they are 0-for-500 with runners In scoring position this year, too. Pedroia, in particular, has been awful in that role.

Weirdo.

I have no idea what an OPS+ is. I never even knew what regular OPS was before they super-sized it.

All you need to know is that an OPS+ of 100 is league average. The whole Red Sox team is 16% below league average(somehow).

It was a quantum leap forward when the Steak-ums came as a full sandwich instead of just the meat.

Really?
Didn't even know that they had changed....I liked to have them on beefsteak rye. Don't think I even bothered to put cheese on them cuz I would just pour the butter from the pan on the bread...heavenly. Meaning, I will probably die from obstructed arteries and go to heaven much sooner than normal due to eating so many of them.

Whoa, that's quite an OPS+

I'm not crazy about the super fancy stats, but I think On Base Percentage (OBP), Slugging Percentage (SLG), On Base Plus Slugging (OPS) and OPS+ are extremely useful when evaluating hitters.

A "slash line" usually consists of BA/OBP/SLG/OPS and is a great way to quickly and fairly accurately look at a hitter's performance.

Don't worry. I'm pretty sure you can still get them the way you like. I just remember they came out with these full sandwiches that you put in the microwave. You saved a lot of the effort that way. I can't imagine those damn things soaked in butter! Yikes.
