My mom had to "work late" (I think she was having an affair) every night for several months on end, my dad worked 2nd shift, and giving me money to eat out every night got too expensive, so she told me I had to learn to cook something "real" when I was 11 or 12. Had steakumms fried in butter every night and got started on clogging my arteries early.

I usually make that once or twice a summer. That particular time was an endeavor - there were 8 of us and each person got their own lobster. The cool thing about the recipe is that it all goes into the same steaming pot at different times, but all comes out at the same time.
