Game Thread: 49ers vs Texans

Yea, I know it is just preseason football but this is a good time to evaluate some of the players. I can't see the game tonight so anyone who can might post a little info here. Whatever this season brings I will always be a 9er fan. Go 9ers!

Hyde looks good.

Torrey Smith was open deep and Kaep missed him. Two plays later, Kaep gets nervous in the pocket and gets flushed out to the sideline. They didn't count it as a sack, but it should have been. He ran out of bounds before he threw the ball away.

Yes, but not going to bother for a preseason game and most streams are crappy.

Where is the Niner pass rush?

I don't care for Lemonier who isn't getting any pressure. Lynch hasn't been practicing with team up until recently, he will hopefully be able to generate a rush

I didn't see whole game. I listened to part of it on radio. Early on, Kap missed an open T Smith on a long bomb. He ran out of bounds on 3rd down. Commentators said it was wise as everyone was covered. Too few snaps to say much. Starting CBs Brock and Wright struggled on some plays. Third down passing D wasn't good early on. The DLine played pretty well. Purcell was standout. Hayne was standout.on offense with good runs. Pass rush wasn't good. Lemonier looked like he did last season. Can't get to QB

Watching the game now and Nick Moody did get beat on two 3rd downs. But I don't blame him on the 2nd one. You can't have Moody covering a speedy WR like Cecil Shorts.
