Good game despite the weather conditions.

Shanahan must be regretting his end of the first half clock management.

Game came down to the wire... really not comfortable with the niners in a tight contest, they've blown the last two. They need to find a way to win these close games.

Chalk it up to Shanahan growing pains.

At least the Niners covered. Clearly they are about the same level, if they meet again in the SB on a neutral field should be a good one

Definitely hurts the Niners chances of making it to the Super Bowl, but this should give them an extra chip on the shoulder if they make it.

49ers enter this week as the top seed in the NFC with the inside track to HFA. Now if Seattle win, they'll end the week as the 5th seed

...which is stupid, but it is what it is.

It's brutal the difference between winning the NFC West or being a wildcard... Potential 13 win team can end up on the road as a 5th seed.... Insanity

I agree... NFL needs to take a good hard look at the playoff seedings, winning the division should guarantee you a playoff spot, but seeding should be by record...

Gotta give the Ravens props - an impressive 4-0 against the best division in football.

Justin Tucker had no trouble.

Justin Tucker is the best of the best and in his prime. Also read that a Raven might have gotten a finger on Gould's kick.

Yeah, I think the NBA does it that way.

Does anyone know what would happen if the Niners lose to the Saints next week, but they win the rest of the way and both the Niners and Seahawks finish 13-3? Head to head, division record and conference record would all be equal if I'm not mistaken.

Not really, option football is the perfect offense for bad weather. You give your defense too little credit, they played a good game.

I'm wondering what actually did slow down the Ravens in the second half. It could just be the Niners' time of possession. Actually both teams were going slow. Weather and field conditions could've been a factor, too. I'm not a scout and the TV broadcast just gives you limited views anyway, but I think the Niners did bring more people near the line of scrimmage. Perhaps, they also brought more quick defenders who could keep up with LJ to play nearer to the line of scrimmage.

Doesn't it go by strength of schedule or victory then?
