This is a very big pickup!
Why are folks not excited? Not worried about RB's?
Bye Damien, we've got a RB who can catch too!
For me b/c I did not see it as a position of need. At least not the FA market.

Do NFL players pay taxes in every state?
They get screwed. They MUST pay any and all taxes in the state which they play on Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Saturday.

It is not by the state in which the team is located. The problem in CA, MA and IL is that players have to pay for 8 or 9 games played in the home stadium. For players in TN, FL, NV it's a bonus.

With the Bengals going all in with Orlando Brown… does that mean Higgins might be available? Can’t pay everyone. I’d take Higgins over Juedy or Hopkins.

A new LB about to be signed???

What are they going to see? He is invisible as a LB!

"LB ANDREW VAN GINKEL — A really good fifth-round selection from the 2019 draft, Van Ginkel has been a core special teams player while getting irregular action on defense. The question here is whether Van Ginkel wants to shop his services and can find a team that's going to give him a bigger role on defense. Outlook: Return 50-50; Outcome: Van Ginkel has drawn interest from a few teams, and the Dolphins seem inclined to let him leave"

Any signings make you feel we make a different approach to the draft?
We signed 2 tackles and that might make us wait until 2nd round?????
A lot of people expecting Darnell Wright to be available in 2nd round......
Have not hit on a CB yet?????

2023 Patriots Free Agent Tracker

So how do you grade it so far?

I'm actually liking the conservative but solid approach so far. I think there's a big splash or two coming but so far the Pats are signing Patriot type players as far as I can tell. And maybe just maybe they have a plyer or two in the draft that they feel strongly about.

I think if we want Wright we would have to trade up. So we need to start looking at prospects with room to grow. Wanya Morris is such a player can likley get him 3rd or 4th round super athletic, a lot of room to grow his game. Really a RT but a mid round prospect I feel is worth taking a look at.

It’s his last year under his current contract. If the Bengals want anything substantial for him, they would trade now.
I think they are more worried about winning this year:suds:
