All of a sudden - it is crickets again. I wonder if Paton was none too happy that his committee leaked so much to the press.

Benjamin Albright is saying don’t expect an answer today or tomorrow. Could be waiting for O’Connell before we make a final decision. All we really know is Hackett’s interview yesterday lasted 8 hours.

Be careful. Sometimes Lucas only wears a Paxton Lynch jersey and it easily comes off.
Poor Paxton Lynch .. I'm not sure what look he was going for - the gay, silent film era movie pirate maybe ( ? ) - I hope he's found happiness wearing the McDonald's headset

Sean Payton stepping down in Nawlins. Paton should give him a call.
He has three years left on his contract so you would have to give up draft capital to the Saints to sign him. I think he wants a break, is worn down and will jump into broadcasting for the time being. That or he wants to coach the Cowboys and this is the first step in that move. Trading the Saints for the Broncos wouldn't be that appealing as I still think he is with the Saints if he has a QB there.

I am going to make an educated guess and say that O'Connell will be our next head coach.
Paton's right hand man was O'Connell's backup at San Diego State.

Well, if we don’t hear anything by this week, it certainly would favor that conclusion.

I'm Giddy up on whoever Paton selects. O'Connell's inclusion may be just to buy time in putting together the coordinators Hatchett would need for Defense, what Quinn would need for Offense,

From what I am understanding is that Fangio had trouble with his personality to hold everyone accountable for their mistakes. The Code word Leadership in this sense means someone the players and assistant coaches would snap to if something needed fixing. If this is what is driving the decision - Quinn would likely be the guy.
