I love Turpin already. How many times have dallas had poor field position due to poor kick returner decisions???
He made it look easy on those two returns. Most dangerous returner on this team since Deion.

I think Bland might already be the 4th best option at corner. He came here with football instincts

The home radio guys and I got excited for #71

I like both of the rookie TE's
I liked Davis & the #32 at RB as well. I imagine one or both make the PS if we dont put either on the 53.

I think it's the one thing Dallas really has going for them. They have talented young depth at RB, TE, DL, LB and DB. I think the problem is we have a lack of depth at the two spots injuries and FA losses are killing us, WR and OL

OL is concerning.
I am really curious on how effective our DL is when the starters all work together. Think that will be key to if our defense goes forward or backward.

Our DL looks great against our OL. Hopefully it's the strength of the DL not the weakness of the OL being the reason.

It does look as though the OL has performed better against other teams vs. ours. We'll see soon enough.

but do we plug in a new LT or move the other Mr. Smith to LT & figure out the guard position?
I would assume we leave Smith at Guard & figure out who goes to LT.

Can Gallimore & others hold the middle & stop some of this running up the gut during the season will be key as well.
Pressure up the middle would be awesome on pass plays. Been dying for a DL with some badass DTs for a long time.

I don't know. I'd prefer finding a new LT and keeping Smith at G. I do think we can use some of our DL and S depth to trade for an OT. Maybe a player or two and a 5th or 4th for a OT.

I'm loving what I've seen from the DL accoss the board. A few of thise guys most of us loved obky to be disappointed, are finally showing their promise.

Regardless of a trade or not, there will be better OL talent available than we will keep from our pool.

I want to keep Matt Waletzko on the 53, I'm also not ready to label Ball
I think both have a future, but we have needs now. We get them on the practice squad. By reading the interweb, theres a number of teams with poor OL's so maybe my glass have empty view of Dallas OL isn't fair.

Smith is the only current player I can see with a chance to start at LT and not derail our season - ignoring moving Martin or Steele. But, the left side of Smith, McGovern and Biadasz does not look very promising to me. My first choice is we bring in a LT and keep Smith at OG. My second choice is we bring in a LG and play Smith at LT. No other choices are smart IMO, but I'm sure we'll do them anyway because it's who we are. The inability to make this team better thru FA has been our problem for a decade and we still haven't learned our lesson. Maybe WR and OL work themselves out, but hope is not a strategy that smart NFL teams use.
