This is what I was getting at. I wanted to see what was still realistically possible to root for, given this point in the season.

I guess 42 wins, or 6-6 (which would be 40-42).

What about making the play-in, or play-offs? Which ones of those would make you happy, at this point in the season?

We average the same number of points scored as points scored against and so 41–41 would seem appropriate. As far as playoffs or play in, I would be happy with playoffs. If that means we get the sixth seed, or if it means we win both of the play in games to get there to the eighth or seventh.

I still have the Markkanen 51% FG to root for. Which he's below, now.

What about making the play-in, or play-offs?

Stupid New York loses to Minnesota and stupid Phoenix loses to OKC. Of course, stupid Jazz lost to OKC twice and lost one game by one point to the Suns.

Just as I have always said, don’t draft someone with the name Luguentz.

That's true. You have always said that.

In the radio call of Thunder-Clippers, at the end of the game, they said Luguentz "put Kawhi in a Dort hold".

If it's not up on other platforms within a few days, I might try to extract the audio and post it.

I wanted to finish at least 42–40 but when we lost the last game before the All-Star game because Markennan sat, I gave up on that. He may have sat because of a knee problem, but I took it as sitting to rest for the All-Star game. And that’s bullshit to me.

I‘m sure we can win seven in a row. If we don’t, @nuraman00 owes me a new car of my choosing. If we do, the equivalent in cash will do.

Sure, I'll send you the Hot Wheels that you want. Track not included.

If you were given a free car, and it didn't necessarily have to be practical, what would you get?

For me, it's a Dodge Viper, either with blue racing stripes or black racing stripes.

When it came time for specifics, I'd research the various models so I would get what I thought was the best for me.

The same way a Corvette owner would presumably get a very specific Corvette model (ZR1, Z06, etc.) for reasons the owner desired.

Actually, I'd ask for a garage or expanded garage. Because with that kind of a car, there's no point to get it without proper security in place.

If I wanted something more practical, then I'd have to research and test drive them, before deciding. I don't have anything off the top of my head, probably because I haven't test driven cars out of my price range. I think some people do, but I don't want to waste the dealer's time, nor invest energy in something I'm not going to get.

if I could sell it, I’d want the most expensive car. If I couldn’t sell it, I’d want the most fuel
efficient car and I wouldn’t want it to look (in my opinion) stupid.

I now have lowered my goal to this. I want to beat our best New Orleans Jazz record:

What are some stupid looking fuel efficient cars, and what are some awesome looking fuel efficient cars?

There was a Tesla that looked like this. I could also imagine something really aerodynamic that is good efficiency but looks ugly.

Phone booth game:

A contestant is in a phone booth. The door closes, and money flies all around him. He has to grab as many red dollar bills as he can.

He gets 4 red bills.

Each red bill is worth $500, so he gets $2000!

This is a cool game.

Back to backs don't matter that much. Teams win at about the same percentage on the 2nd night, as they do for the full season.

Toronto won 70% of its games for 3 straight years. What was their record on back to backs?

They were 26 - 11 on no rest.

Which translates to .702, which is right at their overall winning percentage during those 3 years.

What is Milwaukee's record this year on back to backs?

10-3, .769.

What is their season record? .725.

Bad teams don't win on back to backs anyways, good teams do anyways, and average teams generally do about the same too.

Also, the opponent itself matters more than the fact that it's a back to back.
