Another reason some do not like the current NBA:

Towns, Gobert, and Mobley, all had 13 rebounds, in the same game.

4 of the last 5, not 6. Who do they have working for ESPN Stats and Info? I mean, I know Christmas is over and the Celtics have not won yet, but to include it skews the point of the numbers. And you can’t include the year they didn't count (COVID year started December 22nd.)

They should have included that year, even if Christmas was only a few days into the season.

Cross-posting:

Here's the rules on timeouts:

+++++++

There are two mandatory timeouts in each period. If no team takes a timeout before the 6:59 mark of a quarter, then it is taken upon the first dead ball and charged to the home team. If no subsequent timeouts are taken before the 2:59 mark of a quarter, then the other team is charged the other mandatory timeout at the next dead ball. For nationally televised games, the mandatory timeouts last 3:15. For all other local games, the mandatory timeouts last 2:45. All other timeouts last for 1:15.
++++++++

This is important because Indiana ran out of timeouts and was charged a technical foul, because they had to take a mandatory timeout in the 4th, and didn't have any left.

1:24.0Indiana full timeout 108-136
1:24.0I. Jackson enters the game for T. McConnell 108-136
1:24.0A. Nembhard enters the game for A. Nesmith 108-136
1:24.0Technical foul by 108-136
1:24.0Indiana full timeout

There's a line item for the forced timeout the Pacers had to take:

PopcornMachine's GameFlows - Indiana Pacers @ Sacramento Kings - Nov 30, 2022

He was playing on the veterans minimum. They really didn’t have anyone else they could’ve cut? They cut him because someone else is getting minutes over him, but I thought it was weird. I don’t know much about him. I just know his name and so I felt that he would be worth keeping.

He'd be a good addition for the minimum to any team. Plus he'd provide depth on the Jazz in case of injury.

That‘s on pace for 429 points almost if he played 50 minutes.
