I'm just going to throw this out there now:

a 3-run Hwang-run for Jae-gyun.

Hopefully that becomes a thing

According to Jon Miller -- pronounced "Wong"

Who knew?

I'd love him to force his way into the starting 3b position and push Nunez to LF.

Because you like Jarrett Parker, right?
I don't think his swing is going to allow him to make this club, although he did have a bomb today.

I scrolled through the link for a bit and didn't see anything about an opt out. Where'd you see it?
Sorry, I provided the generic SF Giants link instead of the specific link for the story...

Camp Battles: San Francisco Giants

Near the bottom when it talks about the OF, it says he can only be sent down with his consent.

It you look at all the camp battles, it says that for just about any non-roster invitee who has no options left. I think its strange they do that because if one of those players get added to the 40 man, it won't be so that they can get optioned (although I guess a team could do that with someone who has an option left and agreed to an opt out and the team to keep at him AAA, but then I don't know why those players would agree to something like that).

For those in the San Diego area/SoCal area (not sure how your TV packages work down there), or those who have satellite TV's, the Giants and Padres' game is going to be televised on the Padres' network today, assuming it's not rained out.

It will also be on MLB Network tonight at 9:00 pm, again assuming it's not rained out.

Some tidbits:

Will Smith has started throwing again, so that's good.

Orlando Calixte and Gordan Beckham have been taking fly balls, and playing the OF in live-action ball this spring. Calixte is not super surprising, he's played OF before and that will be his road to the bigs, as a super sub.

Christian Arroyo continues to rake in the spring and make incredible impressions on the big league staff. He's 19-30 over 3 springs.

I have yet to hear anything negative about Arroyo. I would not be totally shocked if Boch calls him into his office this spring and offers him a beer.

Again, the Giants will be on TV tonight at 5 pm on CSN Bay Area. They play the Dodgers.

Cain will make the start, with Blach following him and Gregorio following him.

Yeah, though the way Gonnor has looked it could be a longer shot. I think we will definitely see him at some point this season though.
