So, LeBron and Steph are the top vote getters.

Does LeBron take Kyrie first?

:noidea:

Maybe his banana boat bro?

If Lebron gets the 1st pick he's taking Cousins. He's gonna try to whisper to him to demand a trade to the Cavs or he's walking in the off-season from the Pelicans.

He's the leading vote getter.

So, he gets 1st pick.

Just thought of an idea to fix the Allstar game.

Instead of drafting the two teams, the top 5 vote gets from each conference get put on to one team. After the remaining all-stars are chosen by the coaches and players, each leading vote getter from their conference get to pick one more additional player to their team, to make it a total of 12.

So you'd have one squad of the top 10 vote getters and 2 player individually selected by those conference captains and you'd have the remaining 12 players on the other team.

The 12 players not selected by the fans and/or captains of the two conference teams are 100% going to be fired up by not getting selected. They'd be a squad of underdogs with All-star ability.

Then you have the super team of super teams. If they lose, that would look so bad for them.

Best chance at getting a competitive game.

Best chance at getting a competitive game is to stack the deck in favor of one team? Logic fail.

There is only 1 right answer here. LeBron should take KD just to mess with Curry. Can't let Curry get all the Warriors.

The logic is not flawed in that as of right now, neither team is competing. That's the problem.

Stacking the deck of one team, provides opportunity for failure. Right now the all-star game isn't perceived as a win or loss type game. It's simply about putting on a "show" for the fans. Well the fans don't want that show any longer. They want to see the best players in the world getting after it. There isn't any repercussion for either squad for winning or losing. But if you factor pride into that, well now you have something to potentially play for.

You also fail to take into account the "underdog" team is still a team full of all-stars. It's one sided on paper, but the game will ultimately come down to who plays harder. The stacked team can't simply just win on their talent alone in this type of situation. They will have to play some sort of good basketball.

What you're essentially doing is taking the 12 best players on the planet, and letting them play against the next 12 best players on the planet. It's not that big of a "stacked" team deal for a one game exhibition.

Put it this way, I'd rather see a game in where the A team decides to try to demolish the B team, than see the two teams just casually walk the ball up the court with no opposition and do whatever they want. I'd rather see the B team try to lock up the A team and prove they should get more recognition and force the A team to bring it.

A few trade ideas being thrown out there

Charlotte Hornets Receive: C Channing Frye, SF/PF Cedi Osman, SG/SF Iman Shumpert, SG JR Smith, 2018 first-round pick (via Brooklyn Nets), 2020 second-round pick (via Miami Heat)

Cleveland Cavaliers Receive: SG/SF Nicolas Batum, PG/SG Michael Carter-Williams, PG Kemba Walker

NBA Trade Ideas: Could Cavs' Brooklyn Pick Get Them Kemba Walker?

Warriors give the Grizzlies their 2018 1st Round pick.

Bucks send the Warriors their 2018 2nd Round Pick (Via Dallas)

Bucks get the center they need. Grizzlies get a 1st round pick and two young players hitting restricted free agency. Warriors get their consistent backup guard who can play both the 1 and the 2 in their offense and would be great with the bench unit.

Bucks need a C so bad. Whiteside destroyed Henson and Maker last night

Players had Porzingis over Embiid.

Fans and Media both agreed on the starting 5 for the East

Player voting had Devin Booker in the 5th spot after Curry, Harden, Russ and Dame. WTF.
