Walker was the best DT on the east coast last year. I would have loved to have gotten Nnadi as well, but we got the best. Sobczak may take a year but is a great plug there as well and Mihota is going to be tough to block coming inside out. Stunts with Walker and Mihota will be fantastic in the coming years. Both of those guys have a ton of quickness and rush ability.

As long as Stiney isn't calling the plays then I am OK with the wild-turkey formations. The wild-turkey never amounted to anything back when he was calling the plays.

After hearing how Boone could throw the ball out of the stadium, I was sorely disappointed when he underthrew Tyrod

Hopefully Carlis doesn't miss much time. Definitely good for Ford to get reps in. I feel like he'll be contributing this fall a good amount

Looks like Shai has officially passed Caleb. Wonder if this means Juice will end up shirting?

So Shai McKenzie has officially surpassed Caleb on the depth chart. Is this the beginning of the end for Caleb? Maybe Caleb will take on an important role elsewhere, maybe as a gunner on special teams.....kind of like Zach Luckett a few years back.

What is the deal with Facyson's injury?

:gaah:

Not gonna panic yet, it's only part of 1 practice. But that combined with the fact that Leal and Brewer are co # 1s unsettling. We need Brewer to be significantly better than Leal (at least the Leal we saw last year).

Maybe it is by design with the media??? But we haven't heard much good or bad about QBs which is a bit unsettling.

I was hoping we would have heard some really good things about somebody by now. Have heard zero about Motley.

I agree.

Leal was not an exciting prospect during his last few showings. QB is a position of immediate and desperate need, and we don't need a QB controversy going on.

Couple of thoughts on all the news:

-If Shai is really doing that well, then you have to redshirt Juice. It just doesn't make any sense to play both of them along with Edmunds and JC. And heck, maybe even Caleb if they plan on using him in some packages. There just aren't enough carries and you're wasting eligibility.

-I kinda hope Shai or Juice wins the job outright and splits carries with Edmunds. JC is a good kid, but he's always just struck me as a limited player. He can do some stuff well, but not really a game changer. Servicable, not a star. I'd rather see Edmunds and Shai/Juice being the workhorses, and JC just getting spot carries every now and then.

-I don't see a point in playing Durkin this year. If Bucky can run the WT, let him do it. I think its silly to waste a year of eligibility on Durkin for the chance of what, 10 to 20 snaps all year in the WT?

-I can't figure out if the constant shuffling on the OL is a good thing (depth!) or a bad thing (no one can play well enough!)

The quote I thought was most interesting today hasn't gotten any love here?

Foster on Huelskamp developing at mike: "I’m not saying he’s going to be the next Jack Tyler, but it wouldn’t surprise me,"
