Looks like Brewer threw that ball with him being the only qb with the helmet on in that pileup after the play....NICE!

Highlights from scrimmage:

- 5 receiving TDs all by Fr or rFr (Ford, Phillips, Hodges)
- Isaiah Ford = beast (4 catches, 96 yards, 3 TDs)

Lowlights:
- 45 rushes, 87 yards
- 2 of 17 on 3rd down
- Ricky Walker injured his knee and left the field, no more info yet

Is the run game that bad or is the d-line that good? I'm praying its the D-line but given that 6 RBs are in play it might be the former (can't find consistency)

I know it has been mentioned, but it sure is nice to see some natural position players showing what they can do. I'm not sure whether that was a point of emphasis by Moorehead or has been noticed, but I'm at least happy by what I've read thus far from the receiving corps.

I'd probably (or a mod now) delete that my brotha. The Google commies are cracking down on us and the gestapo is censoring us to the point that Hammer doesn't want us to post pictures of females AT ALL if not on the NSFW forum. :pout:

FWIW, I thought it was funny though. :yahoo:

These are the exact opposite stats I was expecting. Hence I can share the same sentiment. That's awesome it seems like we have a great receiving group now who can make a difference but we need to get the smashmouth running game back. Less than 2 yard a carry won't help there....

Although they didn't provide much in the way of individual RB stats yesterday, Juice had the most yards. With him being out awhile, I would guess he got a majority of the carries. I think he will end up being a workhorse for us. With McKenzie also emerging and Edmunds still gimpy, it looks like these freshmen will be making significant impact this year. That bodes very well for the future.

I have a feeling if the O Line continues to mesh and stay healthy, our running game will be pretty good this year.

So computer generated titties with stars over the nips are a violation now?

:bullshit:

Virginia Tech is proud to offer a new product for consumption; Brewer's Best Lager. Brewer's Best is a special blend of Stanford and Ford hops with spicy hint of Byrn zest. This maroon and orange colored beverage pairs well with turkey legs or can be sipped by itself amongst 66,000 of your friends on a Saturday afternoon. We hope you enjoy this latest offering that is perfect for adding a touchdown of flavor to your life as you pass the time this upcoming season.

Glad we have someone to rally behind at QB. Hopefully the offense can build around Brewer's strengths, starting up front.
