Beanie Wells cut

I know he's been injury prone but I've always liked him from his OSU days and would like to see the Bengals bring him in for a visit.

The Arizona Cardinals released running back Beanie Wells on Monday. Wells broke the news shortly before the team announced his release by posting a message on Twitter.

"Just been informed that I'll be released today. Would like to thank the Cardinals organization for give me a chance to live out my Dreams," he wrote. "The best has yet to come !!!"

The news likely didn't surprise Wells, who had said in December that he expected to be playing for another team next season.

In eight games last season, Wells rushed for 234 yards and five touchdowns. He played in 51 games in his Cardinals career, gaining 2,471 yards and scoring 24 touchdowns.

I'd absolutely sign him to a cheap deal. When healthy he has a lot of talent. The problem is staying healthy. Give him a low deal with incentives in it. If he doesn't stay healthy he doesn't make any money.

Anyone else remember when pimpinatti wanted us to take him with the 6th pick in teh draft? Ahhh good times on Disney.

He's as good as ours.

He actually had 100 tackles last year with 3 INT's and gave up 0 TD's this past year in starting all 16 games.

Makes sense for the Lions if they got him for a decent price.

I'd like to have him here for a decent price.

Kruger is going to be paid more than he should, but Cleveland needs 3-4 OLB. Baltimore is also going to miss him.

Winnfield was really good last year too. 100 tackles, 3 INT's and didn't give up a TD all year.
