Washington State and Oregon State are not the primary rivals for Oregon and Washington.

The state of Washington is technically Oregon Territory so that is the true in state rival.

I don't understand Texas/Big 12.

I've read recently how wealthy and strong the Big 12 is. Now this rumor, which I followed the story stream and it seems pretty weak to be honest.

Still, Texas did almost join the PAC, and now this.


Does Texas want the Big 12 to collapse?

I guess I'm just not understanding the rumors credible or not, popping up every year.
