Texas will NOT ever join the B1G.

It is not going to happen. First of all, Texas is not MidWestern, it's a completely different world.

no, I dont think they are going anywhere.

If they do, whatever, I dont care where they play to tell you the truth.

But the B1G is the one conference they would never go to. Playing Michigan, Huskers, Ohio State, etc. every year would be cool, in my opinion.

I would love to go to games at those locations...

There is no way TEXAS will join any conference as soon as the politicians threaten to pull the plug on Texas from the Permanent University Fund.

I didn't say it would happen I just know Nebraska fans would shit a brick and that would be humorous. You have to consider the source Coda is also convinced:

- The PAC 12 would die to have a Texas and that a Texas has some incredible relationship with the state of California schools.

- That Texas and Notre Dame may team up and form a super national conference around them because they have some super incredible relationship.

- That Texas can have it's pick of whatever conference they want but any other team in the B12 is restricted from leaving.

- Texas has ridiculous money and can dictate whatever they desire on anyone or entity in the entire universe.

This is just a phase he goes through them every year or so.

Actually, now the more I think about it, wouldnt mind seeing Mich, MSU, Nebraska, OSU, PSU, come to Austin.

But if these conferences are going to get real big, with just four, then each conference will just be smaller regional conferences, and you'll only get to play the other teams ever four years or so, thus it really wouldnt change much.

The Notre Dame thing probably refers to when Deloss Dodds actually mentioned that Texas and Notre Dame were having talks in a TV interview that Deloss Dodds gave. I think this was around June of 2010.

The LHN was only in talk forms with ESPN and the LHN was not official until December 24, 2010.

Deloss Dodds was convinced that Notre Dame was coming to the Big 12, until Notre Dame signed on with the ACC.

I just started thinking about going to a game, and seeing someone other than Kansas, Iowa State, etc.
