Does it never end? OSU blog reporting rumors of a future Big 10 deal with Texas. For some reason Fox is pushing for it. I may believe it if it was Northwestern or Michigan Blog, but it is not

Deal for what, home-and-home series with B1G members, or a deal to bring Texas into the conference?

Probably home and away match up. They did that a few years ago.

Right where they belong.

Oky, if it happens I'm sure the offer still stands for y'all and your little brother to come on out west.

Has MHVer3 ever been right? I don't think he has.

To give credit, the Maryland Rutgers was broken by an Ohio State radio station.

The comment section disappoints me. The people talking about it in there are obviously just turning 18 or so. They know nothing about the actual LHN contract. Texas not only gets paid from the Big 12, but Texas is making roughly 12 million from the LHN.(Minus expenses of something like 3 million.) I don't remember the exact Big 12 payout but I think it is around 22 million so that is a 31 million payday Texas had last year.

It will be quite some time at a 3% annual increase, before Texas makes 15 million per year from the LHN.

But they did get it right about Lacrosse. What sport is probably going to bring the NE market? Lacrosse is the sport in the NE. The B1G is going into LAX and having Johns Hopkins in the B1G for LAX was a brilliant move, plus Johns Hopkins is in the CIC now.

At this time, I cannot see Texas joining the B1G.

I always favored going West over North or East. Just an odd rumor at an odd time

If you can't win the B12 join the B1G perfect solution for Texas.

Snotty reply about academics and research consortiums in 5..4..3..2...

Texas wants to join the B1G so they can play Nebraska for win padding.

Texas will NOT ever join the B1G.

It is not going to happen. First of all, Texas is not MidWestern, it's a completely different world.

Craziness. Never. Gonna. Happen.

Wild Turkey, do yo even understand football in the State of Texas and how POLITICAL it really is.

There is no way TEXAS will join any conference as soon as the politicians threaten to pull the plug on Texas from the Permanent University Fund.

We will know it is more than rumors if Ken Starr starts posting lawsuits.
