Said star right fielder Mookie Betts: "He's done a great job in managing personalities and put us in a position to win. He listens to us, and he talks with us. Those dynamics he fits well."

Does anyone truly buy that?

LMAO

"A lot of my team is under the weather with the change of weather, and the air conditioning in the hotel, and the air conditioning here," he said. "It's just this time of the year for mold around Chicago -- I think it's mold. I mean, I have it, too."

I have to imagine Dusty is fucking pissed. The rest of the team has to be.

Strasburg is getting TORN UP on XM's MLB Radio. By callers AND hosts.

Red Sox manager Farrell won't return in '18

In dumping Farrell now, Dombrowski agreed that the team needs a new voice in the clubhouse and a fresh public face. Despite another first-place American League East finish, the Red Sox grew increasingly unpopular this season. Prime-time television ratings on New England Sports Network dropped 15 percent below ratings last year, which was David Ortiz's final season

Wonder if they'll go after the Dartmouth dude, Connecticut native, ex player, & former Detroit Tiger manager.....Brad Ausmus?

He's currently on the radar for a few teams...including my Amazin's.

Maybe... I'd rather have Cora but my opinion means nothing

I do think he played a role in the development of the Sox prospects over the years.

I want Ausmus. Although, the Mets are in a position to pick up a completely fresh face with absolutely no expectations, like Alex Cora

I'd love to have Gabe Kapler as the next Sox manager.

Strasburg is putting himself into Kevin Durant territory where everyone knows he is great but the guy isnt taking the extra step. If I'm a Nationals fan, I probably would be telling everyone to shut up and be happy that they have some other great starters.

yup.

and he clearly hasnt been. im not saying he sucks, im saying as far as #1 overall picks expectations go, hes not been that.

see my previous post, there hasn't been a single pitcher drafted #1 remotely close to being a HOFer.
