Not really. Nobody is going to mention the 2009-10 Lakers

I didn't say that winning back to back means you are part of the greatest team of all time conversation, just that I think that it is one of things that a team has to accomplish to be in that conversation.

I get that losing Iggy has an impact, but you can't compare losing Iggy for 2 games to (potentially) losing CP3 for 2 games.

I somewhat disagree. Are the same level of player? Of course not.

But with the way the Warriors play, Iggy is very important to what they do. Especially on defense.

Just because a guy isn't one of the "star players' doesn't mean he isn't very important to what they do and that it isn't a big loss when he's out.

I hear that, but if you let Warriors fans choose which player they wanted to protect from injury, Andre would be at best 5th on that list.

Cp3 would be 2nd at worst for Rockets fans.

Oh, I agree with that. But I just think his role in what they do shouldn't be diminished.

Especially when the games they lost without him we're each decided by one bucket. Anyone who says Iggy wouldn't have made the difference in at least one of those games is an idiot. The guy is a playoffs starter not some bench scrub

Yeah, I agree. The narrative is how "lucky" the Warriors are because the Rockets may be without CP3 for the next 2 games.

But the Rockets were also "lucky" that the Warriors lost Iggy.

Get Iggy ready for Monday.
When a guy is very close to ready, shouldn't they suit him up on the bench so he can go in just in case (in an elimination game)? You figure you may not need him especially when CP is out but what's the harm of suiting him up?

CP3's shimmy was hilarious but I gotta give props to Curry for taking it (and the postgame questions about it) in stride.
It was pretty good I have to admit. I despise the guy but Curry had it coming and seems to have taken it well.

I suppose, but a championship team ought to be able to overcome the loss of its 6th man which was basically what he was for the entire season.
I think more of it falls on the refusal to put Pachulia, West and McGee in there at all. Those guys all had significant roles during the season and to just completely go away from that type of familiarity seems odd. One or all of those guys could have provided some inside game which might have opened things up more on the outside. I don't know.

26 points total in the last two 4th quarters for the Warriors! That is astonishing! That's a mediocre output for one quarter; its absolutely mind boggling for two.

So by my reckoning you despise Curry, Durant, and Draymond. You're quite a 'fan'.

I'm not sure " Lucky " is the right word.

When something happens on a consistent basis, it's no longer " Luck ".

Chris Paul has been hurt in the playoffs 3 of the last 4 years.

That's the risk you take to employ him.
