Porcello is 3-4 with a 5.80 ERA in his last 7 starts at Fenway. Has a 1.537 WHIP and given up 9 home runs in 40.1 innings pitched.

Some speculation Donaldson will be shopped this winter before his walk year and the Jays about to strip it all down

He will be 33, his market, either through trade or Free Agency next winter, will be interesting

He'll be 32 in December. Over the last 5 years, it's Trout, Kershaw, and him for best player in baseball in my opinion. If they can find a team that is looking to compete soon, has a need at 3rd base, has the prospects to get him, and has the means to sign him long term, they'll get a huge haul.

if the Dodgers offense fails them again in October, I could definitely see that happen

They have Justin Turner signed for another 3 years. I don't see that happening.

A team that I think would be interesting would be the Braves. Black hole at 3rd base, not a lot of long contracts weighing them down, and a ton of prospects (6 pitchers in the top 100). Freeman and Donaldson in the middle of that lineup would be one of the best 3/4 combos in the game.

YUCK

Betts diagnosed with inflammation in left wrist

if the sox get swept, even with farrells WS ring and only manager to win back to back AL east titles...does he get fired?

id be shocked, I dont think they are underachieving at all compared to how good the Indians and Astros are....They lost one of the most important bats of this or any other era.....He's done a great job with the Pen, everyone saw it as a weakness....Id be shocked

Def not a good look......Last season was shocking to me and prob to ownership...This season? Can they really sit back and say "We should have beaten the Astros?"......Maybe, big market teams like the Sox and Yanks demand some really big things

I think it makes the most sense. Blue Jays should be licking their chops over the Braves top 8 guys. 7 of them had good to great years this summer. Building around Inciarte, Albies, Swanson, Freeman, and Donaldson would be pretty damn good. Not to mention Acuna who I think they should try to hold on to in this deal.

We still get a home play-in game! Which is nice.

To highlight the depth the Braves have to trade from:

Ronald Acuna, 19, ranked 5th in baseball (CF): .325/.374/.522/.896 in A+, AA, and AAA this year with most plate appearances coming in AA/AAA

Kolby Allard, 20, ranked 21st in baseball (LHP): 3.18 ERA, 7.7 K/9, 2.87 K/BB in 150 IP at AA

Kyle Wright, 21, ranked 31st in baseball (RHP): 5th pick in the draft, 18 Ks in 17 innings this year, 2.65 ERA

Mike Soroka, 20, ranked 34th in baseball (RHP): 2.75 ERA, 7.3 K/9, 3.68 K/BB in 153.2 IP at AA

Kevin Maitan, 17, ranked 39th in baseball (SS): .241/.290/.340/.629 in his first year, switch hitter who was the top international prospect last year

Ian Anderson, 19, ranked 51st in baseball (RHP): 3rd pick in the draft in 2016, 3.14 ERA, 11.0 K/9, 2.35 K/BB in 83 IP in single-A

Luiz Gohara, 21, ranked 84th in baseball (LHP): 2.98 ERA, 10.7 K/9, 3.2 K/BB between A+, AA, and AAA this year. Made his debut this year and while his ERA was high, he struck out 19 in 11.2 IP while walking just 3

Joey Wentz, 19, ranked 96th in baseball (LHP): 2.60 ERA, 10.4 K/9, 3.30 K/BB in 131.2 IP in single-A

Absurd

Hi, Hu. It's me. Wily. Did the Mets sign JD yet? Is he gonna hit in front of Consorto or behind him?

Oh shit. Thanks a fucking lot Hu. You do realize that he has an alarm that goes off on his phone every time his name is typed on a post here, don't you? He gets really angry when I call him Sweet Potatoes.
