I don't think so. Gabriel, Sasha and Maggie really seemed to bond during the finale of S5, and I think Gabriel may have finally "got it".

BTW, my opinion on this has nothing to do with spoilers from the comics. At this point in the books, Gabriel pretty much blends into the background and is nothing more than an extra. Everything they do with him from here on out is new for TV.

In the books, Carol has been LONG dead at this point.

I think the horn is the Wolves, but the preacher did cross my mind. Just wish they would off the preacher. He takes up valuable TV minutes

I think the major death this season, might be lil carl or Glenn as well. (watch it be Daryl)

Yeah, my least favorite part that I thought was unrealistic was the part where the girls begin praying with Gabrielle last season... in that environment with everything that had been through... they would have no tolerance for him being a traitor. They would have killed him in real life... didn't like that part. Don't like him.

However, if I had to pick between him and Carl, I would choose to keep Gabrielle. Carl just irks me to the bottom of my soul...

Carl... you got me all excited. Please God let it be Carl... maybe that other kid who was jealous this last episode of Carl sitting with that girl will end up killing him in a jealous rage. Zombies are too good for Carl.. need something more heinous.

I just kinda think they are gonna fade him out this year (hopefully) he really isn't a popular character, yet will be surprising to most when he eats it. The way the show likes it. Actually I think we lose more than one of the main group this season, from all the hype I have been hearing. It has only been I think about 2 years in the show, yet his real life body is way bigger than what he was from the start. Time to get rid of him.

Comeds' "Gabriel's Horn" comment made me think for a bit. What if that's what the writers wanted to go for?

Kinda heavy handed, and I really don't think it's feasible, but...just for discussion's sake, what would be the motivation for Gabriel to do something like that?

Gotta say if it isn't the Wolves, I'll be very very surprised...

Without Rick, Morgan would be full blown nutcase. The tension between Rick's ideas of evolution and Morgan's path of least resistance was the highlight of the episode. Everyone knows Rick is right, too, they just don't want him to be.

Morgan would also be my character pick for character most likely to die near the end of the season. Carl's gf would be the character that I think is going next episode. Carl and Glenn both can't be lucky at the same time.

Gabriel makes a lot of sense with the horn *but* TV logic says its the Wolves because its episode 1 of a new season. My first thought afterwards was that it was him so maybe the Wolves come in later when the town is weak and half eaten.

I do think its more than likely the wolves as they've been known to use the sound of vehicles to herd zombies and make traps and the truck getting pushed over while they were there makes it seem like its a least a decent possibility of being triggered by someone.

Sidenote - why doesn't Daryl also carry a gun? He has resources now and there is no reason to use the crossbow unless you need to be silent.

Also, the crossbow is starting to bother me a lot... because even if you collect arrows, they get worn and don't last forever. Neither does the bow. He must have one hell of a maintenance kit somewhere with replacement parts galore.
