Going to be interesting to see how SA compensates for the loss of Leonard and Green.

DeRozan is a nice scorer but not very good at the whole defense thing.

Assuming, Kawhi will suit up and try.... I think both the Raptors and the Spurs just got more dangerous for this next season.

I don't see how Spurs got better, they downgraded from their best player gave up their 2nd best defender and hurt their wing depth and added a 4th maybe 3rd big to the rotation.

They won 47 games without Kawhi, and using a patchwork system they could not change because they thought that possibly Leonard was returning.

They were the #1 defense. The Spurs problem is that they could not score any points at all last season.
They were in desperate need of scorers.

The Spurs needed OFFENSE, OFFENSE, OFFENSE, and some more offense.
They added 2 offensive players in Bellinelli and Derozan.

They drafted LONNIE WALKER IV specifically to be the designated defensive stopper in case Kawhi did not come back.

I'm really starting to scratch my head about why the Spurs made this trade. They must really love DeRozan.

Pretty bold deal for both teams...but also a really bizarre one, especially considering there are numerous reports now saying both of the players aren't exactly thrilled or happy with it.

Has Kawhi become a head case?...and a pariah as a result??

Leonard played 9 games......and I'm pretty sure Green was one of their better defenders and he did play more than Leonard. And Walker will be a rookie.
