Well you know they play the semenholes every year...Something about that just doesn't seem right. That's a long time to go w/o playing an OOC game outside of Florida.
Is that why Florida (Gators) hasn't left the state of Florida, to play a regular season OOC football game since 1991?
Google it and you will see that the last time the Florida Gators left the State of Florida for a regular season OOC football was in 1991.Something about that just doesn't seem right. That's a long time to go w/o playing an OOC game outside of Florida.
Fair enough, if that makes you happy, then I'm happy. That and the fact that UF can fill their stadium with 90K every week unlike the Trojans who must travel to away games to see what a full stadium looks like.
Yes that do. They play that OOC game in the state of Florida.Well you know they play the semenholes every year...
Those links didn't work for me.

Be nice to create a list of all teams with the percentage of home games vs. total games played ranked from high to low in that same time frame.
Florida has VERY rarely played more than 4 away games for at least 15 years.
What a bunch of pussies!
@Gator

I don't know if Michigan can kick that many field goals.Should be an exciting 6-3 game.
So, if UF is a bunch of pussies then OU is there with them!!!
Less games, more home games and WAY less away games. You win neutral games, and that's about it.Is this what you were looking for?
Pos.....Team.........Total Games ......Home.......................Away........................Neutral.....

I don't even know what this means, but noticed the vols on top of that list.
Google it and you will see that the last time the Florida Gators left the State of Florida for a regular season OOC football was in 1991.
The Gators open the 2017 season against No. 14 Michigan in the Cowboys Classic at AT&T Stadium. It will mark the first time since 1991 that the Gators have left the state of Florida to play a nonconference game. The last time wasn't a pleasant memory. They lost 38-21 to Syracuse in the Carrier Dome.
Less games, more home games and WAY less away games. You win neutral games, and that's about it.
Like I said, pussies. How many of those away games were against an OOC P5 opponent OTHER THAN your in-state rival? I bet you can count them on one hand.
This is complete BULLSHIT!
Does OU HAVE an OOC in-state rival? NO
Does Texas HAVE an OOC in-state rival? NO
Does OSU HAVE an OOC in-state rival? NO
Does USC HAVE an OOC in-state rival? NO
Does Michigan HAVE an OOC in-state rival? NO
Does Oregon HAVE an OOC in-state rival? NO
Does Nebraska HAVE an OOC in-state rival? NO
Does VT HAVE an OOC in-state rival? NO
Does Washington HAVE an OOC in-state rival? NO
So all you bitching is because UF has something you don't have? It's called rival envy!
I never said anything about 2 teams winning National Championships from the same state. I was talking about the Florida Gators not leaving the state of Florida to play a regular season OOC football game since 1991.When you have 2 other teams that win national championships in your state and aren't in your conference, it's not that surprising.
It would be like UCLA, Cal and Stanford not being in the Pac12 conference. Does them being California teams mean you shouldn't play them as part of your OOC schedule?
Would scheduling them be "pussy scheduling"?
