Yeah, he was cool on Fallon and I've heard he's a great guy away from the football field. I almost met him one time. He was out in LA doing something for at risk teens with Jim Brown and we were coming from a seminar we had just held up at CCI near Tehachapi, on our way to the same spot. A dude who was with my group and had been complaining of stomach pains all day had his appendrix burst and we had to make a beeline to a hospital with a quickness. We ended up missing Billy B when it was all said and done.

He was good. He was real lucky though as well. Come to find out he was having issues for a couple days, but he's one of those power through his pain types. Tough sonaofbitch and all, but the docs said 4 to 6 more hours and he would've had serious problems, Possibly beyond their abilities to do anything, but make him comfortable as possible till the inevitable.

Oh, he wasn't going home after his appendrix burst. He was a tough cat, but that bust brought all the bitch out in him. We laugh about it now, but it wasn't nowhere near funny at the time. I've seen some serious shit far as injuries. A couple car crashes, some shootings, beat downs, a dude who's arm was literally crushed after a loaded train car shifted weight on his ass and a guy who completely broke his lower leg bone, damn near coming through the skin. Far as non-death seriousness, the crushed arm was the worst as dude's arm literally died. But far as how painful it sounded and how much pain the injured person looked to be in. That burst appendrix didn't take a back seat to shit.

I've seen some shit no doubt. The worst thing I've ever seen was a a dude who had drowned and had been in the waterr for at least 4 days. That shit was nightmarish. Fish had eaten his eyes. Worms-like critters crawling out his mouth and nose. All gray colored and blotted beyond recognition. Ugh......that shit still gives me the shivers.
