We give them Kirk and we get the #2 this year and say a 3rd in 2018. The Browns take Garrett and we have our pick of the top three QBS. Who do you take??

1. Trubisky
2. Kizer
3. Watson

By the way, on the off chance that the Browns take a QB and Garrett is there..... Fuck it we take Garrett at #2, a DL, ILB or Safety at 17 and hope like hell Gruden is the QB Whisperer he thinks he is.

First, I want to sign Kirk. Now that that is out the way, if I'm Scot and I want to build the Seahawks/49ers East, I trade down with Cleveland for #12 and take Cook @12 and Watson @17. At the top of the 2nd round with the pick aquired from Cleveland, I take the best defensive player on my board at a position of need. This is assuming that we have already taken Kirk's 24 and Jackson's 9 plus the other 65 or so and gotten an impact player on D at all three levels. (DL, LB, and secondary.

But now you need a new head coach. Something in the mold of Kyle Shanahan. Lol. Talk about spinning your wheels.

I don't think there is value taking any of those QBS @2. I'd rather have Allen if we stayed @2.

If you're intent on making KC to Frisco happen. Come up with a way that allows the Redskins to Draft Sam Darnold when he declares for the 2018 draft.

Interesting. And actually not bad. But I will point out two things.. I dont think Dan wants Kirk. And if we got the #2, I tend to think we take a QB at #2, because I can only imagine the temper tantrum if we traded down, and the QB Danny wanted gets picked before we get a chance to draft him because we traded down and passed on him at #12 as well.

Again interesting. But remember we are the Redskins. If we deal Kirk have the #2 pick and in all likelihood our choice of QBs this year, We are not going to risk hoping we can get a likely top ten pick QB next year.

Mind you I hope we DONT deal Kirk. But Im getting the feeling we will.

I kinda agree. We all know Dan has a man crush on RG3 and wanted to prove Mike wrong and win with him. No that that ship has sailed, I take Dan at his word. He said he was embarrassed and just wants to win.

On the flip side, I think Scot is the one who is having ego issues. He didn't hire Jay, he didn't draft Kirk. Mike did. Mike is the one who drafted Jordan Reed, Trent Williams, signed Garçon. Some where deep down inside Scot knows all the "ballers" on this team, the one's who are largely responsible for the winning that's going on around here, were the guys Mike brought in here, not him. Part of me feels he'd rather start over and win with "his" guys, "his" way two or three years down the line, than win now with Mike Shanahan's guys.

Good point. I never really though of it that way.

and after we trade down to 7 or 8 we draop back to 12 and get another 2nd :D

Dude.. come on. Dan would be 100% ok with dealing Kirk. BUt if we made that move and DIDNT get a QB he could parade out at the draft party and proclaim the next savior, he might have Trump assassinate the Shanahans on the off chance that the 49ers made the playoffs under Kyle and we once again did a Dan Snyder Redskins maneuver.

We deal Kirk to the Niners, and we will be drafting Watson or Kizer.... at #2.

And if I were a betting man... I would say Watson gives Dan the old aardvark on a mission.

Scot really hasn't put his stamp on this team yet. I mean he's picked up some quality guys off the scrap heap, Josh fell outta the sky, Scherff has been solid, and Doctson is a ? This is not a bash Scot thread. He has brought a sense of order and accountability to this franchise, but still waiting on his signature move. So far it is getting Crowder in the 4th.....which is unbelievable in a good way. This is a big off-season for Scot.

Sportester... its all good. Bu the more I look at it, the more I see the chance that this becomes a case of damned most of the way around.

I think we got an owner who doesnt ant the current QB because he reminds him daily of how stupid he was to trade half a draft for Voldemort.

A GM who as pointed out, has made some moves, but the real players were all brought in by the last guy.

And add to it a fanbase some what divided on the current QB.

This shit has more plot twists than a Telemundo Novella in Prime time.

So, I try to stick within the unwritten rules of your thread and then look for loop holes.

scenario#1
Based on what I've read, all 3 QBs have great mobility and arm strength. Kizer is likely the most pro-ready but not a winner, Watson, although statistically superior to all, and a proven winner...has a 3rd round grade. And Mitch, a first year starter out of no where is arguably the no. 1 QB prospect. Shaky situation, but its likely Mitch will have a great combine, interview and no red flags. Mitch Tribusky@2.

scenario#2

We take M.Garrett for any scheme@2. And ironically because this years QB class was so shaky-- Cousins, Cutler, T.Taylor, Garoppolo, Romo and Foles are acquired by QB hungry teams allowing us to grab Tribusky@17.

Bravo!!

But I seriously doubt Biscuit is there at #17. He is a more heralded Cousins with a sorter resume in my opinion. BUt due to the number of teams needing a QB ( us included in this scenario) he doesnt get out of the top ten, especially if Watson or Kizer are off the board at #1 and we take Garrett at #2. Some one either takes him in the top ten, or trades up for him.

Sadly I think if we deal Kirk, we take a QB at #2 or we end up starting Colt and firing Gruden if we dont make the playoffs and win a game.

Yep I think it is time to put down the logic brain (why would I have picked it up) and go with my street brain. Where folks are hanging around on the corner they are probably hookers or selling dope.

I am starting to expect the worst and think here comes another big old Danny train wreck. We will see but I am not turning my back on Danny and his minions. We as fans keep expecting the spots on the leopard to change but we all know deep down inside that doesn't happen.

I remember in the 80s that one reason the team was good was because they had a good owner. He was crazy as a June bug wondering around with Coco and his hot Latin America hooker because he hired good football people and let them run the team. We keep hoping Snyder figured it out and is doing that but those old spots just don't change.

At this point, IM preparing for the worst and hoping Im wrong. We have had two solid years, last time that happened I ended up in a Coma after we won the Super Bowl, and woke up to find out Gibbs retired, my wife was pregnant and two of my squad mates were never coming home.

So yea my pucker factor is at an all new level of insert coal shit out diamonds.
