I'm all for that. As soon as the NFL proves NE cheated. Not a vendetta because Roger was butt hurt after wasting 5 mil and looking like an ass.

Yeah that's what it is

Youre the guy that believes Aaron Hernandez is innocent, because the actual murder wasn't caught on tape?

Circumstantial evidence has put criminals behind bars for life, and that's been happening forever

Everyone outside of New England, EVERYONE, realizes there was a ton of circumstantial evidence pointing to Brady fucking with the footballs.....From the text message exchange between the guys in charge of the balls, to Brady destroying his phone, as if that's a normal occurrence for people

So his guilt is never really in question to sane people with no dog in the fight

What is in question, is whether or not you think it directly affected Wins and Losses, and Ive stated a million times, I never thought it did....It was a minor infraction punished far too harshly..........Just like I don't think the Giants beat the Cowboys because the Giants used a Walkie talkie for 5 offensive plays

I think Tom Curran has it right - the Giants probably have a sense of entitlement since their owner is in tight with Roger. If they do get caught doing something - John "the fixer" Mara will smooth things over with the league office.

It was pretty widely reported that owners around the league were uncomfortable with the relationship Goodell and Kraft had prior to DeflateGate

Is cheating cheating? Or do you tell your children sometimes there little white lie cheating? No problem every accusation of cheating comes with an asterik. Here's the one for the Giants*

No, cheating is not cheating

There are different levels of cheating, some can impact wins and losses far more than others

You have to be a special kind of idiot not to realize that

Shocked this thread turned into another Tom Brady was innocent thread:doh:

Can we please get back to the Giants clearly only winning because of these walkie talkies!!!
If they weren't using them Barry Church wouldn't have missed the tackle on OBJ that went for 6 and Bailey wouldn't have come up short on that FG!!! Heck, Dak probably completes 90% of his passes too. I demand Justice!!!!:suds:

"7 Degrees of Tom Brady"

I deal with this on 2 different boards

We can turn a conversation about Toaster Ovens into a Tom Brady discussion

True, but do we have any examples of preset discipline being reduced? Here we have two examples - Josh Brown's 1 game suspension that should have been an automatic 6 and this latest episode where they slid no more than twelve spots down in the 4th. If they suspended Farmer of the Browns for four games without pay for texting on the sidelines, McAdioo warranted the same punishment - the penalty had been set, or so we thought.

I think we are taking all different scenarios, and lumping them as one in the same.......Josh Brown absolutely should have gotten a harsher penalty, but than again, so should have Ray Rice, so Im not sure how much Baltimore ownership played into that

The willful ignorance in that post is simply amazing.

Your comparisons are way off, therefore wrong. What you assume nationwide is wrong.

By the way, it's very difficult to convict someone in the real world simply on circumstantial evidence, let alone on a life term.

There is little to no actual evidence in regards to Brady having the balls deflated, but there is scientific proof they deflated due to natural causes.

You can wish it to be true all you want, but it will never be so.

But we all that will never be the case when it involves the Mara family.

I don't wish anything...If Pats fans weren't always the first in line to complain about minor violations and point fingers at other teams, Id never utter a word......I just apply common sense...So No, the 2 guys in charge of the footballs were not discussing a Diet, and no, destroying your cell phone, is not a common activity, even in the world of celebrity

This was another case of the Patriots thinking they were above all, and didn't need to "cooperate" with the investigation, and they paid for it......Like in any other walk of life, when someone refuses to cooperate, it makes them look pretty damn guilty

We have no idea what the two guys were discussing, nor does that show guilt by Brady.

The phone doesn't have anything to do with anything. The Well's team specifically stated they would not be needing it; furthermore they admitted they had all the relevant texts via the other phones.

So your two pieces of evidence = 0 evidence of anything.

Meanwhile science proves the balls were exactly within the window of where they should be.

The balls were not deflated to gain an edge. It's just a fact you refuse to accept, and you hang on to stuff that has no relvance and shows no proof of anything. Remember the league accused Brady of "more probably than not" (Not an actual legal standard) of knowing about someone else "more probably than not" of breaking a rule. It's all hogwash.

We point out the other infractions to show how the league office treats other teams differently.

In the case of the Giants and the walkie talkies, there is clear evidence of a rule violation, regardless of the impact on the game since the league has stated impact isn't part of any of this, it's about the integrity of the game, and yet gave a much lower punishment than in other violation cases.

It's pure hyprocrisy.

You are speaking like a defense attorney, using "technicalities" to get your client off

"We don't know what was being discussed by the 2 ball boys"

Sure, but basic common sense can lead you to a pretty logical conclusion that they were discussing deflating footballs at the instruction of their boss, in this case, being Tom Brady

"The balls were not deflated to gain an advantage"

There really would be no other reason to deflate the football, if it didn't make the QB/WR's more comfortable at a lighter weight

Ill say it for the millionth time, I don't think it had anything to do with them beating the Colts by 40 points

And I completely dis-agree with the same punishment for all integrity of the game issues, especially considering all parties involved in the Giants issue agree that there were communication/headset issues...My Head Coach was too much of an idiot to realize the walkie talkies were a rule violation

But there are different levels of cheating in any sport, I don't think every violation should be treated the same, I think each individual case should be treated individually

Is it a coincidence that the ideal gas law that NEPats seems to be so fond of resembles the word "pervert":noidea:

Wrong again, stating facts. We don't know what the context of their converstation was, and the NFL has refused to allow the full context to be reviewed by the general public.

You are speculating what they are talking about, and if it was a court of law it wouldn't be allowed into evidence.

The league isn't even arguing Brady broke an equipment rule, they are arguing he may have known someone else did.

What we do have, and you seem to doing everything you can to avoid, is scientific proof the balls were exactly where they should be based on the ideal gas law. Real Evidence.
