after Lewis' start last night they may want him to make 1 more start at frisco
They will and they should.

Missed game due to work but have to think last nights heroics deflated Mariners. Rangers on a roll regardless. Big weekend for me 2 games at ballpark with son in town.

There only chance is as a wild card and that is tough when you have to jump over 5 teams or so even though you are just 4 out.Seattle is done.
For some reason on the advanced schedule it shows AJ, Lewis and Holland pitching in the Houston series. I would hope that is not right and that it is AJ, Holland and Darvish and Lewis with 1 more rehab start.I think we will go Saturday.
Sorry Saddles. I missed you posting this. Good to see.
The difficulty with the WC race this time of year is the lack of head to head games to gain. I think there is only 4 left with the Astros where Seattle could gain. But then two AL East teams the Tigers in Central and possibly KC. So yeah tough to jump unless they get hit like Atlanta did a few years ago winning most of their Sep games. There only chance is as a wild card and that is tough when you have to jump over 5 teams or so even though you are just 4 out.
True. They do play the Astros 6 times. But I don't think they play any of the other teams they are chasing. The difficulty with the WC race this time of year is the lack of head to head games to gain. There is a lot of scoreboard watching in the WC race hoping the other guy loses.
Do not mind those nice calm blowouts even though last nights game is hard to beat but only because of how it ended.Just finished watching afternoon's replay. Helluva game.
Easier on the relief pitching since I just read we lost Jeffres to rehab.Do not mind those nice calm blowouts even though last nights game is hard to beat but only because of how it ended.
Thankfully we are about to get reinforcements for the pen.Easier on the relief pitching since I just read we lost Jeffres to rehab.
"Along the lines of Brinson and Ortiz." Sounds like Mendez, but Rosenthal could be wrong I guess.
Rosenthal's Latest: Rangers, Brewers, Braun, Braves, Sale, Mariners
Not to be forgotten, Texas also agreed to include a player to be named later, and FOX Sports’ Ken Rosenthal (video link) characterizes that player as “a significant piece” who could be along the lines of Brinson and Ortiz – both of whom rank among Baseball America’s 75 best prospects. The reason Milwaukee didn’t land the player Monday is because the two teams ran out of time before they could agree on whom it would be, leaving the Brewers to eventually choose one from a list the Rangers provided them.
considering the Rangers are considering bring up Mendez with September callups don't see him going there
