C'mon now, even you boys know damn well ya'll had no business winning in Charlie's 1st year, hence the reason ya'll didn't run your mouths that much on this board after that game. Last year was pure domination as well, we just didn't have the offense to run up 60 + pts.
Guess Texas fans like moral victories more than scoreboard results.

Is there a lineup of married women in front of him and he's picking one?
But....But...... Core values are so important to him besides whatever married woman he's trying to plow.

He should. Saved his job.
Remember what this looked like? I know it's been a long, long time. You enjoy that hat sport.View attachment 100911

Congrats on that. Sure you took solace in that when Clemson ran what seems like their annual train on OU.

I'll take it any time over Texas' season.

what can we say? Our team has sucked for most of five years.

other than beating OU and Baylor, what the hell else do we have?

Our corch allegedly got tangled up with a money grubbing harlot, after stepping into a complete disaster at Texas.

But it will start getting better this year, I believe.

Jokes aside. I do think Texas is on their way back up. I'm not sure if Charlies the guy that does it, but the well see. Always like it when Texas is ranked. Much better for the league.

yes, I'm just being hopeful. I mean, what's my choice? I'm not in my 20's or 30's anymore, I cant do another five year startover. They have to get it together now.

The conference will be better off if Texas and OU are battling for the lead every year.

I can appreciate this, and there's no doubt Texas will benefit greatly from what Stronghas done regardless of whether he's around when it happens. I just find the delusional bloviating from your brethren humorous when you consider there's no question who's owned this conference for the vast majority of its existence, and the Stoops has a pretty decent hand up in the RRSO during his time at Oklahoma.

I think that's mostly true.

The Big12 South was the best division in all of CFB for quite awhile, and Texas beating OU during that stretch was tough. It seems we only did it with the VY team and Colt McCoy teams.

You all got yourselves a good coach, and he's stayed around a long time. But everything is cyclic, you never know what the future brings. I mean when he leaves, you could get another gem, or you might have to suffer through a not so good coach for awhile.

Exactly. That's why I've been inclined to give Bob a little more rope here than others, and in all honesty it looks like he may be turning things around. Time will tell, but the next two years will tell a lot. Recruiting this year is going gang busters and that's what we'll need to be able to win another national title and that's a big part of what we've lacked recently. Recruiting really fell off the last several years, but Bob seems to have a new fire in his belly. I hope it's here to stay because I do not want another Blake/Schellenberger run. With that said, Bob needs to show he's capable of really getting it done from right now going forward because it's time to crap or get off the pot.

Really both OU and Texas success and failure have been tied qb play and evaluation. There's been some big misses on both fronts that have really defined a few seasons drastically. If Longhorns find that guy, watch out.

He'll either succeed this year or be replaced by someone who can...

I don't see how this is thread worthy

A Michigan fan saying somethings not thread worthy? Now that's just funny right there. :pound:

The last six years, Texas has had three winning seasons and three losing seasons. 2014 and 2015 were both losing seasons. 2016 will bring some steamrolling action?

Cumulative record 2010-2015
41-35 53.9%
20-17 Home winning percentage 54.1 %
30-27 57 games played in Texas, in the state of Texas winning percentage 52.6%
11-8 outside of the State of Texas 57.9%

Played their last three bowl games in Texas, went 1-2. Plays 75% of their games in Texas. Texas politicians will insist that this always be true.

Even though Texas claims academics is important, the Texas Longhorns were not one of the three 5-7 teams selected for bowl games based on academic criteria.
