We cannot always play Oklahoma, Texas A&M, and Nebraska.
Texas needs to learn how to beat teams besides those 3 easy wins.

We keep beating those teams like always AND currently have scoreboard like always.
It is just the other teams that cause us hassles.

Lol. Apparently you don't understand the word "upset." :pound:

Charlie Strong has been at UT for 2 years, both bad teams. He's had his team outplay OU both times, and won in a year when he went 5-7. Judging from the facts, it looks like the only "upset" was in 2014. Texas dominated the box score, but OU pulled off the "upset". Awe man, facts ruined your argument again.

Texas vs. Oklahoma - Box Score - October 11, 2014 - ESPN

Oh Texas. They just need to let this guy go instead of waiting another year.

The delusion of burnt orange fans on this board is impressive. Let em win a couple games they had no business winning and suddenly they forget about all the epic ass lickings Stoops has handed their little whorns.

This probably isn't that unusual to say in front of faculty and boosters.
Nothing to see here except Charlie overloading his ass again.

I guess nobody actually READ the article then.......as usual

Strong is correct. If he continues to build on this current roster - hes basically playing all underclassmen - when they become upper classmen we SHOULD see domination. We had 3 true freshmen all americans last year. We have pretty much no real upper classmen contributing. I think the season after next his team will be prime to make the playoff.

Is it delusional to base the performance off the current coaches or to base your opinion off of a current coaches domination of a fired coach?

By the way, if you read the article Strong said "when we flip this thing". It really is not any kind of definitive statement. He basically said when we turn this around we are going to win a lot of games. Not sure why that would rile anyone up.

What's crazy to me is their willingness to just simply forget that Strong has been blown out in like 40% of the games he's coached in at Texas. That doesn't scream "guy who's just about to turn the corner".

Nor does beating zero top 20 teams and getting blown out at home 42-13 by your main competition.

Its hard to judge last years team. Never few teams started more true freshmen that Texas. That tends to lead to a lot of volatility. ND and TCU games were quit understandable, especially opening up at a top 10 ND team (this was a healthy ND team). Beating OU and beating Baylor showed the potential. ISU was a WTF moment. Texas was a bad road team. Again not something that shocks you, when you consider the amount of true freshman starters

Except....that's not a true statement. I think you mean, teams that finished in the top 20. We beat multiple teams that were in the top 20 prior to their loss to us.
