The hard truth is Texas has won the last couple of games it shouldn't have won against OU because our coaching staff talks like Tarzan and then lets our team play like Jane. The Bob & Mike Show has too often been a clown act since they put the band back together. We beat an occasional Big Name and then screw the pooch in other games where we should have been a winner if only we had someone who could make some intelligent halftime adjustments. Add in how we get lucky sometimes like last year when we played a lot of teams who were on their 2nd and 3rd QB's and we still have a nice winning percentage but very few National Championships over the past 15 fuckin' years. Texas can't possibly keep getting lucky and beating OU because we played like shit in the RRSO. Either Texas is going to get better and start winning when they should win or OU pulls its head out and learns how to stop sticking its ass in the air for Charlie. Both schools are probably on the edge of things being different; either OU or UT will likely get a lot better. And then we won't be watching the same mediocre crap we've seen in both programs for the past few years.

This is generally correct, but I can see both sides. ND is a great example. Team that started the year was quite different than the one that finished or for you I should say Florida. Generally the final rankings are what matters with a few exceptions for teams that were destroyed by injuries.

They have come in a played their style and made little to no adjustments against limited offenses. This goes back to the year they let Case beat them. Texas offense has been quite easy to stop with minimal game planning. Recently teams that have embarrassed the offense have crowded the line on early downs and played zone on passing downs. Texas QBs cant read a defense and dropping 4-5 underneath limits the QB run. Just watch the ISU game for a perfect example

Mike Stoops has singlehandedly cost us at least a dozen losses since he came back. But he's golden as long as Big Brother is the HC. People act shocked that we lose to poor teams like Texas but if they just had a realistic attitude they would notice a long trend of these losses to teams we should have beaten because our defense didn't get off the bus. And nothing will change this year. You can bet we will lose a game or two because someone lights us up while Mike is having a conniption fit in the press box.
