Like the Orange Crush?
They faced a better defense that day, the Doomsday Defense. They had eight turnovers, so yea, I'll stick by my original statement and say defense wins championships

OK, just not the Orange Crush though :thumb:

BTW, Dallas had a offense, something Old man River, Craig Morton couldn't help muster up.

And in case you forgot, Denver's defense was statistically better than Dallas' was all year as well. They just shit the bed in the SB.

The quick 3-5 yard passes is what Brady lives on. With out them just an average QB at best. Glad you can see that as well.

He and the Patriots have been compensating for a beat-up offensive line almost all year. When they had the ability for the quick pass to compensate they did just fine didn't they? A fine tuned machine? If the line was better he'd have more time for the longer passes. Correct?

Well. guess what? When you can't do that and the line still has problems, something has gotta give.

Unbelievable.

ok I'll give you that. Some do... Which is stupid.

@Rex Racer why the hell would you say that?!?!? Is it not true? The eagles beat the Patriots and made them look like a 5th grade team who couldn't tackle.

Went over to the Eagles page this morning for congratulations.
Well deserved, the Pats lost that one outright.

I need to find the same moving company Tgann69 uses.

Brock's o line isn't that good at all and had a couple of nice deep throws against the Patriots to take the lead late . Just saying. Tom Brady lives on the short pass his whole career except when he had Randy Moss. Look at his yards after catch by his wr's. Team Yards After Catch Statistics: 2015 NFL Season

Welp, they (Eagles) came to play and steam rolled the Patriots!

Hats off to ya...

I can't believe that stupid pooch punt in the first half and then the terrible play calling to end the half.

Eagles wanted it more....

If someone tries to blame injuries for this you are nuts!

I sure didn't expect it, but as the rule goes, "any given Sunday"......I've said many times before that teams that start out winning every game almost always peak too early for the playoffs....
For the first time ever, I saw Brady on the sideline panting for breath and looking exhausted early in the 4th....
He's been great, but you can tell the writing is on the wall, just like PM....
Old man time, is gonna show up.....He's still a threat, but without his help from Gronk and Edleman, and a beat up oline, he's not gonna look like himself against good teams especially....
Just my opinion, although I am a Professor and I know everything....:D

He was panting , after catching that pass and running for 36 yards ( took about a minute) and then rushed in for a td

Of course Brady and the Patriots like the short passing games but it's not all 3-5 yards throws, he's had more than his share of longer passes as well. For almost half the season it was near unstoppable. Not every team can do it as well. To his credit Osweiller had nice throws against the Patriots but the season is not over. How was he this week?

Players do tend to look like crap when they're losing. If I recall correctly, everyone had Brady washed up last year.
