If anyone wants to bet me whether Kyrie Irving sees the floor in November I am game. 2 weeks of an avatar. Out there for anyone, within reason, to take. 2 week avatar bet- if Irving plays in November i win- if he doesnst- you win.

Amar’e Stoudemire hasn’t been able to move on defense in five years. The Heat have tried to trade Chris Andersen and Mario Chalmers to anyone who would have them, per sources around the league, but if they deal them now to trim their repeater tax bill, they’d also thin their bench to red-alert levels.

The Heat, beyond Bosh, can’t really shoot. Deng has hit just 33 percent for his career from deep. Wade has basically punted on the entire concept of 3-pointers. And Dragic has been a below-average 3-point shooter outside his All-NBA campaign in 2013-14. A Dragic-Whiteside pick-and-roll can’t really go anywhere if defenses swarm the middle

Correct on the picking and choosing, and too funny a Cavs fan stating that another team might have risked their future.

Q. What exactly did the Heat give up to be in this position?
A. Nothing but making an educated decision that I certainly agree with signing Dragic.

Sure, if things go wrong it could backfire, but that scenario is with EVERY team, not just the Heat.

If things go as visioned, then we are back contending in the EC right away.

Wonder what teams offered these opinions of gloom and doom and what their roster/scenarios look like.

they have a substantial amount of individual talent- but the parts just dont add up to a team that the REAL contenders need to think twice about.

How many times have:
Whiteside, Bosh, Deng, Wade, Dragic, McBob, Winslow, Amare, Green, Bird, Ud, Chalmers, Richardson , Johnson etc.., etc.. ever been on the court together yet alone a training camp and preseason?


Yes, this is not a great 3 point shooting team, but it should be a team that finds very high % shots and I'd rather live or die by that.

You know they can't rebound or defend?

It all comes back to the same thing with you which is HOPE.
