if holt is a starter on your team your team sucks.

hes an awesome utility guy a few days a week, but as a starter?

he'd be part of the reason why the team is terrible. guys like him arent everyday players.
Between this year and last year, he has about a full season worth of games with a .291/.352/.404/.756 slash line. He's been a top 20 offensive player in the AL this year and the lineup is best when he is in there.

yup...spread out over a 2 seasons.

thats what i mean.

he cant play everyday. when he does (he has) he goes into slumps quick. we saw it earlier this year and last year.
hes a nice bat to have on the bench and very useful, but he cant play everyday.

his .782 OPS in the minors playing full time is a more solid sample size than "over 2 MLB seasons as a bench player".

Former Mets standout and Cy Young Winner R.A. Dickey powered through early command problems (read: stupid ass ump didn't know what a strike was, had to be told by classy Dickey) to stifle his former team and lead the Blue Jays one step closer to their destiny of first place.

On the other side of the ledger, a resurgent and ageless Bartolo Colon was done in by a porous infield defense, leading to several earned runs that, upon further review, will most likely be determined as unearned.

Lucas Duda did his best Alex Rodriguez impression, scorching a meaningless solo homerun in the latter innings when the game was virtually over.

The red hot Blue Jays will next host Baltimore for a weekend series, while the Mets will start DeGrom, Syndergaard, and Harvey in consecutive games at Turner Field in Atlanta.

did the timing belt, full service records. its under 10k too, which i like.

Holy shit. An '04 with less than 10k miles? That's sweet.

I've had 2 Audis and my buddy has had 3 - no problems at all. They're nice cars - personally, I prefer them over BMWs.

Good luck.

It's not like Brock is playing every other day and putting up that slash line, he is going through stretches of being an every day player and putting up that slash line. He missed big chunks of last season at the beginning and end of the season, starting 98% of the games in the middle. It's not like he's going on the bench every 3rd or 4th game.

The only seasons in which he was a full time player in the minors was 3 and 4 years ago. The most recent season in the minors he put up an .859 OPS, and doing that playing most of his time at shortstop.

We really don't know what he would do at this level as a full time player. He's been on a hot streak and is clearly their best option in the lineup right now, so we will probably see if you are right by the end of the season.

yup and that was between AA and AAA. but hes not an everyday MLB player. he wasnt in the minors sans 1-2 years, and he isnt in MLB.

Hahaha. No, I'll admit my issue with the 10k was because I'm apparently mentally disabled. This is a good post, though. :thumb:
