They must have their strategies worked out before the game, 'cause every time the camera pans over to the coaches they're just standing there with their mouths shut. :D

No quite often they're screaming at the players or trying to move someone into another position. It's the same for the NFL coaches and college football coaches. Just depends on when the camera catches them.

That would pretty much be the definition of butt hurt. If you really enjoy the sport that much, enjoy the sport! There's no reason to get pissed off if we don't share half of your enthusiasm for this game.

For the record, I've had the games going on all day on my TV but they've pretty much served as background noise. There's been some fun games, but it's not affecting my view of the game as a whole much.

You don't get it. I couldn't care less if you don't share enthusiasm, but why make a point of shit talking it every time it comes up? Just don't watch it and shut up.

Games per season
NFL: 16
MLB: 162
MLS: ?
NHL: 82
NBA: 82

Seems relevant to the analysis.

Don't tell me what to do, thx.

Just watch tv. Same for every sport.

I watch but still don't get it. Also, the announcers tell us nothing about the strategies being used. Nothing. That's not on the prospective fans, that's on the people trying to promote the sport. They do a pretty shitty job.

The best post in this thread is that there is no strategy to soccer.

BTW you don't think there's any strategy that goes into corners or free kicks either?

So it's the announcers fault you're ignorant to the inter workings of the sport?

Oh, so you want it to be one way for soccer fans and another for people who don't like it? Soccer fans have to quietly enjoy their sport, but soccer haters can be obnoxious about it? Yeah, I'm going to listen to what you say. :lame:

Are you trying to promote the game or not?

No, actually. I love soccer. The world loves soccer. I don't need to promote it by any means.

Obnoxious posters like yourself have made up your mind about soccer, and the uninformed drool all of the soccer haters proves that. They'd rather sit and attempt to troll something they don't understand instead of realizing there may be a reason why it is the most popular sport in the world
