1a. It has to be Bo Pelini, unless Nebraska has realized their place and has settled for mediocrity. Solich did so much more and was fired.

1b. Will Muschamp - no way UF keeps Muschamp if they have another losing season and gets schooled at their own house by another FCS school along the way.

2. Dana Holgerson - WVU has regressed in a severe way, however, I think it will take some time for WVU to adjust to their big boy conference and I do think Holgerson will right the ship.

3. Brady Hoke - 8-5 and 7-6 the last two years. Will Michigan be like Nebraska and accept mediocrity, or will the Wolverines find another coach if Hoke goes 7-6 again? What if they lose to their daddy, Appy State, again?

4. Al Golden - Canes did go 9-4 last year but what if they go 6-6 or 7-5 again this year?

5. Charlie Weiss - I know it's KU and KU will always suck in football, but could Weiss be on the hot seat if he goes 3-9 again?

I agree, it's a huge move to the PAC and expect him to be a contender by year 3

It's year 3. They haven't exactly lit the world on fire with recruiting the past two years either. 5-7 the past two seasons. Yes, they've had some injury problems, but that excuse can only be claimed for so long.

If they win 6-7 games this year and get to a bowl, he's probably safe. But another losing season? That's going to be a rough call.

Holgorsen still has too much of a buyout, fans will be VERY restless again if there is another non bowl season . If Doc Holiday ( WV native,WVU grad, long time asst coach at WVU great recruiter rep) continues to have success at Marshall.... Holgy might get his house burned to the ground

The hot seat is a 5 alarmer for Kyle Whittingham at Utah. He's gone 5-7 the past two years. They've stunk up the joint for the most part since joining the PAC. Unless they get to a bowl this year and 6 wins may still not be enough to save his ass, he's gone.

This is just what happens when mid majors join real conferences.

When people still try to say Bo Pelini is on the hot seat..

People just make this shit up out of thin air with no real clue of what's going on here.

Brady Hoke isn't nearly on as hot a seat as you think (not so say there isn't heat). There still plenty of fans who want to see him succeed and have plenty of reason to think he will in the long wrong. Those that can look past a couple of "bad" seasons and see the huge potential this team has.

But most of all he has the full support of Dave Brandon, the AD, the guy who hired Hoke in the first place. IMHO it will take an absolute disaster of a season for them to pull the trigger.

Brady Hoke-Michigan-11-2/8-5/7-6 over 3 years. Another 7 win season and he's toast. I don't think Michigan fools around with this guy any more if doesn't make a run at the CCG.

Bo Pelini-Nebraska-4 loss seasons in each of his 6 year. If he loses more than 4 he's gone, but I think his mouth will get him fired before his record does.

Will Muschamp-Florida- 7-6/11-2/4-8 in 3 seasons. Is 7 wins enough for him to keep his job??

Dana Holgerson-WVA-10-3/7-6/4-8 the over and under for wins this year is 3. 6 wins might save his ass but I'm doubtful.

Who am I forgetting??
:suds:

If we go 7-5 this year with this schedule I'm going to kick a cat.

In years past, 7-6 and 8-5 seasons were disasters at Michigan. What do Michigan fans think a bad season is now??
Does 8-5 this year let him keep his job.

What exactly is going on??
Pelini is a classless fuck on and off the field and has no offensive identity after 6 years.

The Gators better show significant improvement if Will Muschamp wants to keep his job.

If Florida isn’t 5-1 or better after the first 6 games, Will Muschamp must be fired. If AD Jeremy Foley won’t do the firing, both men should be pushed out of the team airplane at 30,000 ft.

IMO, it's not even if we win or lose. Another absolute clusterfuck, like against Miami or that junior college last season, will mean he's gone.
It's one thing to lose and completely another to have a confused squad that doesn't know wtf is going on.

Pelini will be at Nebraska until Pelini decides to leave. I am figuring after next season (2015), which will probably be his best, he will move back up to the big league.

No offense, but that's what they said about Mack Brown. If 2015 is truly your year, and he doesn't deliver, then you can throw that statement out the window.

Utah is playing with the big boys now. It's completely different in the Pac. No more powder puff teams on a consistent basis. I'm not saying Utah isn't and can't be a good team that can compete, but it's different when you playing teams that are one good breaks away from beating you even though you should win. When you look at the WAC or similar conferences, no matter how many good breaks some of those teams got, there was no way they were going to beat Utah.
