Brady Hoke-Michigan-11-2/8-5/7-6 over 3 years. Another 7 win season and he's toast. I don't think Michigan fools around with this guy any more if doesn't make a run at the CCG.

Bo Pelini-Nebraska-4 loss seasons in each of his 6 year. If he loses more than 4 he's gone, but I think his mouth will get him fired before his record does.

Will Muschamp-Florida- 7-6/11-2/4-8 in 3 seasons. Is 7 wins enough for him to keep his job??

Dana Holgerson-WVA-10-3/7-6/4-8 the over and under for wins this year is 3. 6 wins might save his ass but I'm doubtful.

Who am I forgetting??

Pelini will be at Nebraska until Pelini decides to leave. I am figuring after next season (2015), which will probably be his best, he will move back up to the big league.

The hot seat is a 5 alarmer for Kyle Whittingham at Utah. He's gone 5-7 the past two years. They've stunk up the joint for the most part since joining the PAC. Unless they get to a bowl this year and 6 wins may still not be enough to save his ass, he's gone.

The Gators better show significant improvement if Will Muschamp wants to keep his job.

Seriously, everyone thinks Pelini is on the hotseat. The media will have you know it too, but he is not.

He has absolutely zero strikes against him as far as Eichorst is concerned.

I think they have had some bad breaks along with moving up in competition. I think it would be a mistake to fire him, unless he loses the team

The problem with Utah is they came in with massive depth problems at their skill positions and offensive line. Their defense has actually been really good, but gradually got worn down by 4 INT or 8 sack games on their offense. If they can keep Wilson upright and put up like... 28 points and not give it away, they're going to win plenty of games, unless the D just takes a dump. I doubt that will happen, because systemically their defense is pretty salty.

I actually think they've got a legit chance to win the South this year just because I think their quarterback is halfway decent, presumably healthy and I'm assuming their defense will be what it always is- A little slow, but physical and beefy up the middle.

Paul Rhodes at Iowa State has been there 5 years and every year has had a worse record with last year being 3-9. ISU just doesn't understand their place in the world and will probably fire the guy if he doesn't win 8 games or something.

If Florida isn’t 5-1 or better after the first 6 games, Will Muschamp must be fired. If AD Jeremy Foley won’t do the firing, both men should be pushed out of the team airplane at 30,000 ft.

Holgerson is likely done, with the lack of talent he has and the schedule I can't see him doing good enough, I can at least envision a saving scenario for the others and I think Pelini will be fine.

Especially QB, injuries at that spot have hurt them every year in the Pac-12. We all saw that if they keep Wilson upright and put up around 28 points they can beat anyone, look at the Stanford game last year.

Whittingham can't be on the hot seat though, he got them into the conference in the first place. Just awful injury luck.

They belong to a tougher conference now. These former MWC boys (TCU included) are getting introduced to big boy football the hard way.

I disagree. The guy stepped into a terrible situation and deserves more than 2 years to prove his worth. Whether or not he will succeed after is an entirely different debate, but Cal isn't a desireable place to play ball with all those other teams on the West Coast. Probably would think about going to Fresno before Cal if I was a recruit. Stanford, USC, UCLA>>>>>>>>>> Cal. Not easy being a car salesmen when you are trying to sell a turd on wheels compared to a BMW.

I agree, it's a huge move to the PAC and expect him to be a contender by year 3

I don't think anyone in the SEC will hire him unless it's as a defensive coordinator.
