1941 is the only one that is questionable.

I still think all NC's should be erased prior to the BCS era simply b/c #1 and #2 rarely ever played each other for the NC. For fuck's sake, the AP awarded BYU a freakin' NC for beating a 6-5 Michigan team in the Holiday Bowl. Out of Texas's 4 NC's, we played #1 or #2 twice. We beat #9 Notre Dame for one of our titles. Out of OU's 7 NC's, how many were won played against #1 or #2, just out of curiosity? Hell, ya'll were awarded a NC in '74 without playing a bowl game b/c OU was on probation; your season didn't even count. The BCS may have many flaws, but it doesn't compare to the fucked up system that was in place for decades prior to the BCS being born.

This sounds more to me like trying to put Texas on equal or greater footing considering it would retain the Horn's one NC since 1971 and erase the multiple NC's of many others.
