Please explain to me in detail how Kobe is seeing the end of his career ?? Are you saying he wont step back on the court ever again & that his career is over ??

If I recall his achillies is fine & his knee injury just needs rest, his not going to have surgery.

It's pretty simple. These guys WANT him to retire. It isn't quite their call, though...

By him accepting 24M a year, he pretty much sealed the fate on winning any more rings.
Your roster is much closer to being the worst in the West vs the top.
Nothing (barring James coming:lol:) can leapfrog them towards the top in the next 2 years.

Based on what? Who the fuck cares?
You pretty much suck with him or without him this season.

Maybe repost some pictures of dusty banners hanging up in Staples or something.

He will never be close to the same. And if he steps back on the court, there is now a greater chance for injury and possibly career ending. So it's over, he isn't getting younger but is getting more fragile.

Lebron is still getting stronger as we speak.

That's pretty much the only FACT that matters to me right now.

He played what? 4-5 games before breaking down again?

Lol, has he called a career yet? Did we miss his retirement speech? Are you really this stupid or is this some monumental comedy act...?

He should have sat the season out.
It would have been better for him and the team long run.

Hellooooooo. That isn't what he does. 'Sides, i don't recall YOU being his team doctor...

Dude's a warrior and he's PROVEN that his whole career. So try to quit nit-picking...

Look at the standings. The numbers don't lie.

so what's your point?:rollseyes:we knew it was hardly a championship season from the git-go...:noidea:

Amazing. Now you're just arguing for argument's sake and trying to split hairs...

I'm starting to feel sorry for you again...and you know how much i HATE that when it happens...

Nobody is saying he wont be the same, but you're pretty much assuming his done, just because of a knee injury that has nothing to do with his achillies. Your assumption will only be relevant if he was having surgery, but his not. If i recall he was starting to play well & did in his last game before where he still played with the injury, you are forgetting that Kobe doesn't need to be athletic, his skills,Post up game & footwork are perfect for him to finish of the remainder of contract with the Lakers.

What makes you say the injuries aren't associated?

Anyway, if he though he was going to reinjure himself, he wouldn't have come back so soon.

WHAT IF he reinjures himself again? It has to be on his mind as well as everyone associated with the team.

Many a player/athlete has extended his career way past when it should have ended.

Kobe, pre-injury last year was still an elite NBA talent.

After these injuries, I seriously doubt it.

GL with that 13 ppg. LA won't be contending anytime soon, unless he steps down and lets someone else take the helm (which he should do).

What makes you say the injuries aren't associated?

Ill take Dr. Klappers Chief of Orthopedic Surgeon word for it like he said On ESPN LA Radio they ate not associated with each other, he also said his knee will be stronger when he comesback.

Anyway, if he though he was going to reinjure himself, he wouldn't have come back so soon.

WHAT IF he reinjures himself again?

Kobe already has said you cant go out their & think about getting injured you just gotta play, testing to see what you can do from game to game after coming back from a serious injury is different from worrying about re injuring it again, but their has been no indication of his achiilies not being healed, it just needs strenght that comes with time.

It has to be on his mind as well as everyone associated with the team.

His only played about 5 games it'e way too early too say his not elite, off corse he still can be, even with out athleticism, because his game doesn't need to rely on that, the guy is still 6,7 210 pond shooting guard, who can score still look at his last game before he went down he almost had a triple double I believe.

& hit a clutch 3 playing on that injured knee

Who said anything about contending or how many points his going to AVG., we are just talking about how you said his career is over, stay on topic, we are not talking about the Lakers neither.

Even if he AVG. 13 points a game, does that mean his career is over ?? NO it doesn't it means he can at least still play some what, right ?? how many players in the NBA who have a career dont even AVG 10 points a game still play ?? DUH!!

And you are just assuming this is what his going to AVG, with out letting him get some more gamse under him, he all already had over 20 points in two games since he returned, that shows you he can still score easily. I'm pretty sure he can AVG 18 to 20 points a game when he gets his conditioning back, that is still decent & its even what Wade is averaging

Coming from a member of a fan base that daily says Wade is done. Too funny:lol:

Anyway, did you forget to mention playing defense in your post?:noidea:

The Lakers problems stem from that end of the court.
Kobe at his age, with the injuries is just another piece of a broken team that isn't built in any way, shape or form to be a top team anytime soon.

I dot know who said anything about Wade being finished & as far as defense if you go to our Laker boards I consistently mention it in every game, ask any Laker fan in here & tell tell you the same. Now when you say Injuries what do you mean ?? how many does he have ?? He only has his knee injury nothing else at least at the moment, so I think you mean to say his injury, not injuries

The thing that you're not comprehending is I never said it was over, you implied that. I was saying he will never be the same, won't end of on top, and with just be a role player basically.

Also this scoring could blossom, but it will be way less consistent and that is sying he won't get injured again. Which now he has a great chance of becoming injured more and more. So if you don't want to call it over, which it isn't, it is the closest thing to it.

Just start enjoying Lebron's greatness, bc you will never see the old Kobe EVER AGAIN.

Now you're contradicting what you said, this what you clearly said,
Kobe is on the sideline and seeing the end Of his career, while lebron is WINNING.

He will never be close to the same. And if he steps back on the court, there is now a greater chance for injury and possibly career ending. So it's over, he isn't getting younger but is getting more fragile.

so I'm pretty sure I comprehended what you said I'm a master at that.

Now your changing your tone after you seen what I told makes sense, instead you where pretty much making him seem like he was a scrub & would not ever play again & I don't have to enjoy lebron because his not my favorite player, I rather watch players like Curry,Irving,Harden, Paul George who are our future in this league.

Seeing the end of your career, doesn't mean it is over. It is dwindling as you speak. Nice try, but you and Kobe failed here. :laugh3:

I think you are butthurt that Kobe isn't the Black Mamba anymore, actually it wouldn't be smart to use the nickname anymore.

Enjoy The Greatness!

Dont give me that shit you know exactly what you meant just to bash on Kobe wich is ok, but you know you were pretty much saying he was finished, don't twist it, just man up & admit, don't insult my Intelligence

How I'm I butt hurt ?? if I clearly explained also that his game will be different & his Athletic abilities wont be there any more, I know what he is.

The only one that failed here is you assuming he is done, because according to you he will Avg 13 points a game & that means career over :L
