Just because he is in uniform on the court it is not like he would be full strength. I would have loved to see him in this game but I hope he rests this game and maybe another one. He is playing through injuries you play through in the playoffs, not injuries the 2 time champs shold be playing through in December.

I'm an avid Canes fan. They have 5 National Championships in football. For the last decade though, they have been irrelevant.

There is a huge difference between being the best player, mvp, on a championship team vs just other players on the roster.

Im not implying Kobe was a bench/role player by any means.
However, if he isn't your best player, then you are part of what has to be a very talented team.

If you want to compare players/rings, then apple to apple it has to be when they are the best player on their team.

If you want to measure players vs each other, , then individual awards would make much more sense to use as a measuring stick.
