I'll always be a USA fan that's for sure.

As an American I find it hard to consistently follow a team in Europe. However I try to watch Tottenham because of how big of a Dempsey fan I am. I used to be a huge Liverpool fan when Fernando Torres was there. I also like to watch AS Roma because Francesco Totti has always been a favorite of mine since I started watching soccer in about 06.

And my favorite goal will always be this

USA obviously.

Club: CHELSEA. Because Drogba and Lampard. Mostly Lampard.
The pain of 2008 and robbery in 2009. The Redemption of 2012. Amazing stuff, when Drogba netted the penalty I fell to my knees didn't say a word and a tear rolled down my cheek.

The top row are the teams I am most passionate about and follow religiously. The bottom two are teams I support as a matter of interest in those leagues.

I started following Juve way back when Del Piero was first bought from Padova. Just off the top of my head, other greats that have come through the club that I have enjoyed watching play: Vialli, Baggio, Vieri, Ravanelli, Conte, Davids, Deschamps, Zidane, Viera, Ferrara, Nedved, Thuram, Trezeguet and many more. The club has such rich history!

As far as the National game goes, since I followed so much Italian club football, favoring the Italian National team was just an extension for me. People might call their (defensive) game boring but I love it. Most of that might have to do with the fact that I was a sweeper during my school and college playing days.

Started cheering for Tottenham when they appeared in the first game ever televised in the US in either 61 or 62. Recently switched to Chelsea.

I don't really have any favorite teams, and will just watch more of the teams I find interesting in their current setup......like Chelsea this year, buying all the great young attacking midfielders, looked like it was going to be very exciting football. Hasn't turned out that great. And Paris St. Germain is obviously a really interesting team to follow right now, so many good players.

But if there are some teams I like more than others, its the ones that punch above their weight financially, ones that don't have as much money but manage to compete by making smart moves and purchases. Right now Dortmund is the best in this regard, with some very shrewd transfers that turned into great players......and on top of that they're probably the most fun team to watch with good and creative players all over the field. Also enjoy Everton, which is almost broke yet manages to stay near the good Premier League teams consistently.

Oh and also I like the Netherlands style of play. They have a ton of talent on their squad. I have them back in the Finals next WC

I like trance's format so here's mine:

Religious supporter of:
219_-spain-home-2012.gif
221_-england-road-2011.gif
329_-fc_barcelona-home-2008.gif
arsenal-logo.gif

Teams that I also tend to follow with more than average interest:

116_-brazil-primary-.gif

904_-ajax-primary-.gif

England and Arsenal is what originally brought me to soccer, but Spain is part of my heritage in a way so of course the Catalan giants reign supreme with me.

Brasil is a team who I happen to catch a lot of due to their flair and the fact that I have quite a few friends from the South American continent who watch these guys. Ajax had a run in the 70's and although I wasn't born then, I know of them and the influence Johan Cruyff brought to the Nou with his La Masia system.

USA, Mexico and Pumas.

Born in USA, husband is from Mexico and likes the pumas so I just follow him on that. Didn't pay attention to soccer til I met him.

I also like MU but who doesn't, amirite?

USA

Liverpool- Because I started watching EPL when Stevie G was knocking 30 yarders in on a regular basis. My favorite player ever. A little part of me cheered when he scored vs the US in the World Cup.

Sevillia- Because I used them on FIFA 08, right about the time when they were making some noise in Europe. Danny Alves, Luis Fabiano, Freddy Kanoute and Jesus Navas. That was a hell of a team, wish ownership would have kept them all together.

DC United- Just because Adu started with them and I used to watch them a lot when he was there.

I always root for England and Germany in matches not involving the US.

Gotta love the U.S. but have been an Arsenal fan for so long I don't even remember what brought me to like them. If I have a favorite team, I am dedicated for life no matter how good or bad they do as you can tell by my favorites.

Unfortunatrly at this point they aren't the team they used to be. I am just a very dedicated fan. My enjoyment comes from seeing anyone beat Man U.

Bolton, because they're the New York Mets of Greater Manchester.
<-----
Since my ancestral home was Lancashire, I casually follow a few other teams from what either is, or historically was, part of Lancaster County, like Blackburn, Blackpool, Preston North End, Morecambe, Accrington, Wigan, Everton -- But I can't stand Liverpool or Man United, and I'm indifferent to Burnley, Oldham, Rochdale, or Man City. Can't love everybody.
