Wouldn't draft him. Wasted pick.

Financially a smart move. If he dosen't go in the first 2 rounds, it may not be worth it though. Looks like an injured reserve player for the future.

Him and Brandon Jenkins from FSU could wind up being steals if they can recover from their injuries and drop in the draft. Demarco Murray and Willis McGahee are 2 backs that had injuries in college and are doing pretty well for themselves. He'll be alright.

Completely different body types and injuries. Guys as tall as Oden have much more problems when it comes to degenerative leg issues like microfractures.

He is much more comparable to Willis McGehee.

this. I'd definitely snag him for a 5th

I'm glad he didn't take the chance to come back to USC, though I thought he should have waited a year to declare. He's rolling the dice a bit. Most Gamecock fans feel the same way, at the sites I frequent - he deserves the shot to excel, and help his family.

Pure class act - glad he was a Gamecock!

No way he goes in the first two rounds. He couldve went back to college and rehabbed for a year, not even gotten into any games and he i doubt his draft stock wouldve fallen below where it is now. I could be wrong, but I don't think it was financially smart, unless he thinks he is planning on playing next year in which case a poor season in college couldve lowered his stock.

That’s not a fair comparison anyway. Greg Oden is like 87 yrs old.

Tell Willis McGahee there's no way he goes in the first round.

Do you think he'll still be the first running back taken? Some people were beginning to debate that prior to his injury. I have a hard time believing a running back will be taken in the first and i think Randle, Ellington and maybe even Le'Veon Bell will be taken before him. It isn't one freak injury, he has a history of injuries and there is no way he will be ready to go at the combine. Lamar Millers draft stock fell significantly last year due to a medical issue they found at the combine, I have a hard time believing Lattimores stock didn't go down at all due to this significant injury.
