yes their run D seems helpless out there, Penn State running at will

yeah, i've been saying for Iowa's last 3 games, same with this one. Iowa's D sucks.

With the offense, the play calling is terrible. They were supposedly supposed to be a shotgun pass offense now, but now they have more runs than passes throughout the game. But Iowa still can win. I'm not giving up on them yet.

I remember when Vandenberg came in late at the Shoe a few years ago and should've beat Ohio State in OT. rough day he's having today but I wish he could suit up as our QB in Lincoln tonight

They lost their starting QB, RB, WR, 3 DL, LB, 2 S, P, K from last year. Losing that much with Iowa's recruiting hurts a program. I think Iowa has a good passing game, which they were supposed to do more of, but Iowa's OC ran the ball on 1st and 2nd down and passed on the 3rd (and mostly the same plays throughout the game). My HS alma mater does that too. They are 0-7 right now.

I'm not too disappointed with that defense. They are young and inexperience and are following a very good defensive team. I'm disappointed with the offensive play calling.
