But but but penalties on the last play of the game doesn't matter if you're mizzou!
Nope, I'm just making fun of you.
Since when does a defender get a cushion...he was clearly impeding an eligible player and preventing his ability to receive the ball.
As a defender you get to make a play on the ball, you don't get to block an offensive players ability to catch the ball.
"It's only fair."- that one mizzou fanI was expecting another 5th down or some shit.
Right. Your team going 3 and out on every offensive possession in the second half didn't cost Mizzou the win, and we're the idiotsKarma is about to hit these idiot Bama fans
Wow. The answers are amazing. The defender does need to let a WR go by he can stand in space. DBs. Constantly “impede” WRs, watch a CB get out in front of a WR and slow down or force a WR to the sideline.
Cushion? You mean that it is legal to push a defender to get open? Are you seriously trying to say that with a straight face?
Hey did you know Clemson's rub play, that wasn't called, in the NC a couple years ago cost us that game. Not our terrible offensive performance"It's only fair."- that one mizzou fan
Good lord, you are a Bama fan and you don't know football???? If you believe what you just typed then you are a moron
It sure as shit isn't gonna have anything to do with your shit team.Karma is about to hit these idiot Bama fans

If karma affects football games, I don't even want to know what some of you Mizzou fans are doing.
This is why it's tough.
If the ball isn't in the air, then the defender can stand there all they want, and even push/jam the receiver so long as the receiver is in "front" of him. In this case, the defender was.
But when the ball goes up in the air, I do not see where it's the same thing. I can see where the guy can go for the ball, but standing there is not going for the ball, it's just impeding the receiver.
To me the question for the contact is this - was the defender going for the ball, or did he simply block the receiver from the path. I do not see a defender going for the ball at that point.
If you can show me where it's different than that I'll change my mind.

Yes, and they constantly get called for PI for impeding WR's, Like holding, you could call it on every play if you wanted. In this case, the Kentucky wide receive is looking back for the ball the entire time on the video. His arms are out and he is trying to catch the ball, the defender is the handsy one. I don't see the push off that tiger or you are claiming, but all I've watched is the clip in the thread, I do see a CB falling on his ass, but not because he was pushed.
I see all that and makes it tough, but you can't just stop and block the guy from going and there was plenty of contact.
Say it's a one they should probably not call and I'll agree with it. But I can't go so far as to say it was a terrible call or that Mizzou got screwed by it really.
Dammmmmmmmn....All you've managed to do with this thread is prove how shitty mizzou is and how much you need bullshit excuses to help you sleep at night after losing to fucking Kentucky .
