Here's some real crazy talk. The Warriors are done. The Rockets will win the next 3. Not only that but Steph will throw his mouth piece, Draymond will kick CP3 in the basket-balls & KD will KO a ref before the series ends.
lol @ KD will KO a ref before the series ends.

But, if Dray kicks CP3 in the basket-balls he would deserve it after literally putting his elbow up KD's arse in that first game. :D

Game 2 meant nothing really. Warriors got the HCA. Houston couldn't afford to lose on at home. GS will know to protect their home turf. You could tell by the half the Warriors had already mailed it in. That was the worst their defense had ever looked and their offense wasn't much better

Worst case scenario for GS is this thing goes 7 and they are at home. Series over
Well game 7 at Oracle is impossible in this series.

I don't know who will win the series, I would lean towards Golden State because I think that they have more experience, can get hotter, have more talent, and stole one on the road, but geez, people overreacted after Game One.

I even saw someone talking about the Warriors winning in 4 or 5, as if Houston had no answer, no chance, and there was no chance for Golden State to cool off. That Golden State took the regular season unseriously but now is zoned in.

I do agree that they recognize the difference between playoffs and regular season and have a different intensity, but these teams were 1–2 for a reason. People looked forward to this series for a reason. One game does not change that.

Having said that, I wasn't ready to predict Houston to win the series or Game 2 necessarily. I felt they would just because they were at home and had to respond, but I wouldn't underestimate the Warriors winning both games one and two.

Yes, I equivocate but that's because I think it any game can go either way. My Jazz played the Rockets and I knew that they were going to go out in five or six games. I knew it wasn't going to be a sweep but I knew the Jazz had no chance. There is enough of a chance for both the Warriors and Rockets that there can be a favorite, but no consensus, especially when talking about any specific game.

Does this qualify as a soapbox? I was just trying to talk. Either way, I was saying I don't know anything and neither did anyone else (unless they were to say that it could go back-and-forth).

I think it would be pretty cool to alternate games until game seven and then just see a good game.

Outside of CP3, and Harden, HOU shot very poorly in game one on their home floor, I didn't expect that would happen in gm 2.

But, GS has accomplished what they set out to do, they got one on the road. Can HOU do the same? If so...6 or 7 might be the number. If they come home 1-3, I could see them going out in 5...either way I think GS has the best OFC structure...if HOU is hot from 3, the games will be close, but the Warriors will move on.

They were sloppy, lazy and pathetic. Exactly what you would expect of this entitled bunch of spoiled athletes. Houston clearly proved they are the superior team and the Warriors have no chance of winning this series, or ever again. Steve Kerr needs to get his head out of his ass and go extremely big and play Zaza and Javale at the same time. This going small stuff is a joke.

How was that?

Speaking of JaVale - why didn't he get any run even when the game got outta hand?

They aren't talked about often because they're inconsistent. If they played like they did in game 2 on a regular basis most people wouldn't have suggested GS could sweep them.

This is the NBA where just about EVERY player can have an outstanding shooting night or really good defensive night. It's the players that can do it consistently that get the recognition.

The HOU rank-n-file has to bring that game 2 effort on the road.

I think Kerr is gonna tactically switch things up somewhat, and is saving him for games 3 & 4 to use in various looks....especially in those high pick & rolls....plus not exposing him in games 1 & 2 kind of negates (in theory) any preparation against him by D'antoni & his staff. IMHO..McGee is quicker, a better passer, rebounder, screener & defender than Looney. I believe we'll also see some more Q.Cook in spots.

I think JaVale is the better option on defense than Looney - but there's quite a few here that disagree with our opinion.

Because they wanted to give a Rockets player the Zsa Zsa special.

I dont think HOU is better than GS........These are both elite teams that are very evenly matched.....Each team has plenty talent, it will just come down to who executes better....I probably give a slight edge to GS because they have the championship experience.........But HOU is very capable as we saw tonight.
The difference now is that they've frustrated Curry so badly that he cannot perform. I've said all along that HC would decide it and I stand by that. I see them splitting the next two in Oakland, Houston dominating game 5, the Warriors pulling out game 6 and game 7 staying close until midway through the 4th when Houston's superior will and talent causes the Warriors to fold their tent as they did last night.
Last night's game had this season's Warrior team written all over it. they can get up for a big game but cannot sustain that effort for two games.

Houston isn't the better team. They were last night though.
The only difference between last night and game 1 was Houston was missing their shots. You saw what happened once everyone got involved; total control of the game.

Agreed. That is what I saw as well and it did not surprise me a bit. Houston is the superior team but not that superior; they simply made the Warriors quit.
