False, you're referencing "heat index". The "feels like" temp referenced is usually based on a number of things:

For accuweather:
"The RealFeel® uses multiple factors including the temperature, humidity, cloud cover, sun intensity, and wind to explain how hot it feels outside."

Wind chill is used for colder temperatures, of which you were arguing the reverse of. And sun intensity is funny to mention because that's based in large part to your location, time of the year/day. Which is basically what determines the overall temperature to begin with.

Just admit you made some bullshit up and got called on it.

Michigan has all the concessions open and volunteers usually staff those. I have to imagine just that alone more than pays for our spring games in terms of cost. I just dont' get the demand some schools have for spring game attendance. Honestly, if it were as busy as a normal game I might not go just because it's not worth the hassle.
Someone usually pays the athletic department to come in and sell concessions. Or a volunteer group comes in to make money for their group. Support staff includes parking attendants, ushers, security, often police officers, and numerous other "behind the scenes" folks that people without imaginations don't consider.

With a crazy storm approaching this weekend that will deliver thunderstorms and snow all over the midwest, Michigan, Wisconsin and Northwestern have all canceled their spring games set for this weekend.

I'm pretty bummed about it because it was our first chance to see the new group of QB's at Michigan; specifically McCaffrey and Patterson. How am I supposed to over-hype someone this Summer if I don't have epic spring game footage to reference?
And now 5* Harrison may cancel his trip up to AA. This was his weekend for an OV up in AA. That will hurt any slim chance you had.

Not at all. There are a lot of factors. And sunny in winter is totally different than sunny in spring, when the angle of the sun is starting to change. I can't expect a southerner to understand. But 40 degrees and cloudy and 40 degrees and sunny in the spring is a polar opposite experience. It was 40 and sunny this past Sunday and I was out grilling on my deck in a t-shirt. Today it's about 50 and overcast and I'm wearing a jacket around outside.

I'm not worried about recruiting. We're off to a damn good start but ultimately I expect how we do this season to dictate what happens with some of these kids.

And it is an ugly home schedule to show off for recruits.

What's the latest on the eligibility on Patterson? I hope he can play. You guys really need him this season to succeed imo.

You're an idiot. Sunny in the winter/spring = LESS INTENSITY. That's why it's lower fucking temperatures. DUH.

The feels like temperature that day would have been COLDER, not hotter:

1. The winds were 16mph. Very high and will make it feel even colder. aka wind chill.
2. It was actually cloudy that afternoon as shown, so it was not sunny.

You are just making shit up.

Our "awesome" home schedule last year included all of our recruits watching us lose to OSU and not a single one ended up in the class. So maybe it's better off that they watch the wins at home lol.

No one knows much. The kid's lawyer seems pretty confident and expects the NCAA to decide within the next couple of weeks.

Some positive news is that the NCAA is treating all 6 cases from Ole Miss under the same ruling, so they aren't looking at 6 different cases and will rule all of them eligible or not. Which seems to favor Patterson being eligible.

It really screws him over if he's not eligible. That likely means Michigan starts a young QB with 3-4 years of eligibility while Patterson sits on the bench this year. After a full year of starting, without some injuries in the future, it seems like he won't ever see the field if his request is denied.

I'm not sure what you're arguing here. Yes, the sun angle is less in the winter. As the spring hits, the sun angle increases and becomes more intense. It's less intense than Summer, obviously, but we're not talking about summer. The air temp doesn't necessarily correspond with how sunny or not sunny it is outside but in this time of year, the sun being out certainly makes it feel warmer out. Interestingly, cold days in Winter are often warmer than sunny days because the cloud cover keeps in a lot more radiant heat. But wind, cloud cover, humidity -- all factor into how warm/cold it feels outside. Which is why the "feels like" temp I referenced earlier, would be higher than the 40 degree air temp being referenced.

And yes, in my case the "feel like" temperature on Sunday would have been higher than the air temp, and today lower than the air temp because of those very factors. Hence my original comment. So what exactly are you arguing with? Because your original point, "feels like" temperature is not referencing humidity alone and nothing else.

Yeah, no reason to screw with this kids future. Let him play. The NCAA continues to be the fuck up of all organizations.

He probably shouldn’t have gone to a program that everyone and their grandmother knew was dirty. He more than likely accepted money and now is trying to high tail it out of Ole Miss with no penalty. I hope he is eligible so Michigan fans can stop using the quarterback excuse for every season.

Honestly, we shouldn't have a QB issue even if he's not eligible. We have 4 other scholarship QB's on the roster, 3 of them were of the top 250 variety. If Patterson doesn't become eligible and we can't develop one of those QB's to be serviceable this year, then there's a serious problem at Michigan. Peters looked OK in the limited time he had before injury.

Northern Schools - Southern teams are pussies for not playing in the snow.
Southern Schools - At least we play in the rain.

Some do. Seems like every season Florida is having a game rained out, same with LSU. FSU canceled two games last season.

No dipshit, it's simple math.

Wind Chill Factor

On the day of the Michigan St spring game:

Wind chill: 32 degrees + 16 mph = "feels like" 9 degrees

And you say shit like "cloud cover" affects temperature. It does - ACTUAL TEMPERATURE.

I'm saying you are completely full of shit and made up your claims about the Michigan St game weather.

I can't imagine ever having to pay for a spring game. There has never been a Spring game I've attended that I would have paid for; especially lately because they broadcast the damn things on TV now days. I don't understand why people pay for them.

heck, you could have received free TWO Michigan regular season football game tickets with the purchase of two cokes.

Buy 2 Cokes, get 2 free Michigan tickets

And even in the picture he posted it wasn’t all that sunny.
