I don't know anything more about the workouts or what transpired. I'm not sure who went to his open workout, but I'm wondering if it was Caserio. He has a hell of an eye for things and if he saw something that grabbed him enough to talk to BB about bring JM in for a private workout, then I'm in. If the Pats staff is interested enough to talk to him about coming here, I have to believe that Josh was at the workout and he must have seen something he liked. All things being equal, maybe JM on his meds is a totally different football player too.

If the pats staff likes him, who am I to disagree???? I only have one Super Bowl Ring........... I bought it online.

I get 247 Sports everyday on my computer. Bet you can't guess the rumor on it this morning.........

Odell Beckham to the Patriots for the #31, #49 and Brandin Cooks. One caveat......only if Gronk decides to retire. I can't wait foir the draft to get here so all of this ridiculous crap will cease. If you only look at the headline and don't watch and listen to the video, you automatically assume that this stuff is in full gear when it's just a writer trying to get 'clicks'.

Could Gronk be traded?

It’s been nearly two months since Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski declined to commit to another season of football. Could the Patriots be inclined to make the decision for him?

Via TheBigLead.com, Boston Sports Journal has crafted an intriguing bit of (mostly) speculation regarding the possibility of the Patriots trading Gronkowski. Citing a “Bill Belichick-friendly source” (that’s the first time “Belichick” and “friendly” ever have been used in the same breath), Greg Bedard suggests that, when circumstances force the Patriots head coach to contemplate life without a given player, the Patriots head coach begins to warm up to the idea of not having the player.

Bedard identifies the Rams and 49ers as potential destinations. The compensation for Gronkowski, who has two years left on his current contract and may have only one year of football left in his career, isn’t clear. Let’s assume that the Patriots could get a first-round pick for Gronk.

If that’s the case, there’s no reason for the Patriots to finalize the deal now. Whether it’s the Rams at No. 23, the 49ers at No. 9, or anyone else, the goal would be to acquire the pick not four weeks in advance of the draft but when the pick is on the clock. This would prevent the Patriots from being leapfrogged by a team that successfully guesses its intentions for the pick.

But can the Patriots manage to keep the trade quiet that long? Absolutely. The Patriots routinely insist on secrecy from teams and agents as to all transactions; four weeks ago, agent Drew Rosenhaus wouldn’t comment on whether the Patriots had simply asked Gronkowski about his plan for 2018.

His plan for 2018 may be to play for another team. And it’s possible that Gronkowski has feigned interest in retirement in the hopes of getting the Patriots to decide on their own to get what they can for a guy whose career may be pulling into the station.

I would say it will be tough to get a 1st round pick for Gronk. His age, injury history, and him coming out saying he doesn't even know if he wants to play another year in the league would make it difficult for a team to want to give up such draft capital. He is a huge talent for sure but that is a lot of risk for a guy that nobody quite knows what he is going to do from day to day.

It really just occured when this team falls apart it will fall apart quickly IMO. There is a good chance all these guys could be gone about the same time. TB12, Gronk, Jules, BB that alone would do it.

That is true, the next few years will be interesting to watch. Although I won't be watching the game as much. Killed my Direct TV, got tired of being ripped off.

So did I. Went to Comcast and got my internet and TV for less than DirecTV. I was paying for DTV and Imternet for an additionaL $100.

amazon has upgraded it's FireTV and from what I hear it's fabulous. When my 24 months are up with Comcast, I'll really check it out.

It seems you get screwed on internet if it isn't bundled with something else...

I actually got the 'Triple Play". Premium TV with 270 Channels (Of which about 240 are totally useless), Internet (Which comes with my own Wi-Fi and Server) and a land line phone (which I unplugged after one week of collection agencies calling for the two previous owners of the telephone number. It costs me $199 a monthnfor everything. When I had DirecTV it cost me $240 a month. The internet cost me $88. Both were going up and to get them for $199 saved me $129 a month immediately. DTV was going up $15 and the internet was going up $12. So now I'm saving $156 a month.

I gave my Wi-Fi password to 3 neighbors and they each pay me $20 a month so they can use their laptops. I monitor the wi-fi and they agreed not to give anyone the password. They a;ll have been great and haven't given it to anyone else. I can see who's on it and can change the password as often as I want.

Trade him to the 49ers for a first and second.
I know he is only worth a second but make up for the Jimmy G trade. He was worth more than a first and second.

I have Commcast. I hate it. I'm overpaying for what I get.

Have to be careful with Comcast. Someone watching your TV can "upgrade" without knowing.
End of month you have a $200 bill!
