Unsure how it is calculated, but the Seahawks could be looking at 3rd and 4th round compensatory picks after losing Graham and Richardson.

I believe they need to have a net loss of qualified free agents to get compensation.

It's possible but it will depend on who we sign as well.

Unless we cut Kam and Avril, I don't see us signing anyone big. If we do I'd love to have Pugh. He plays a great guard and would shore up the left side pretty well...

Think that has changed. He’s a Viking now according to Adam Schefter Twitter post.

In my defense, his tweet was literally 2 minutes after I posted that. So, I was still right????? :)

Also for what it's worth, the Seahawks are visiting with DT Tom Johnson. He's a bit older (34 in August), but graded at 78.9 by PFF's measure, which is roughly comparable to the 83.8 grade that Richardson received.

Well these kind of guys are what I wish the Seahawks won’t do. Much rather see players signed that are in the plans for the future, not some gap stop to prop up this season.

I doubt he would cost much and the Seahawks really do need bodies. We only have so many draft picks.

I agree here... I mean Jesus we have the fewest signed players in the league. Not counting our draft picks/PS I don't even think we can field a full roster.

Seahawks are really going to have to get lucky with UDFAs this year.

Failure in 2018 will prop up 2019. Lets see the Seahawks with a good draft position and tons of picks to take advantage of those picks.

That and the draft for the limited ammo we have.

Sure was great seeing Alex Collins go to the Ravens and put up a near 1,000 yard 4.6 ypc season.. :rolleyes2:

Ravens were a bottom 16 blocking team last year (PFF) so it's not like it's the Eagles, Cowboys, Titans or something...

Well maybe this means Suh is a lock... Suh lives in the PNW so maybe he is happy to be closer to home and Seattle just let Richardson walk.

IMO Suh is the better player. He's an elite category on PFF compared to above average for Richardson. Was in like a 91 grade the other 83.

Only thing that sucks is 4 year age difference, but I didn't see Seattle giving Richardson some 5 year contract anyway.

Suh even being older is simply the better player... We effin need him now, this is getting a little scary watching so much talent walk away...

I mean without Suh our D-Line looks atrocious, lol... unless Reed/Jones suddenly become self aware and turn into the next Cortez Kennedy/Mebane combo. Clark has always been used as a situational player and Mingo is like 235 lbs, so he can't really play on the line.... I have no idea what his role will be, maybe they'll have him bulk up?

I dunno...

I mean basically outside of Clark/Reed the ENTIRE D-Line (depth included) is unknown next year. I mean who knows maybe Dion Jordan will get coached up and live up to #3 overall and become a MONSTER pass rusher and Reed/Jones will just DOMINATE the trenches, but I'm skeptical.

Course there was a time when Clemons and Bennett were basically nobodies as well.

i think everybody needs to calm down.

this next year is going to be a rough ride, but the team will be better for it.

no big contracts for old players.

Maybe. Got to think he could of found a better offer, with some patience, a multi year deal with someone. Oh well ,Sheldon we barely knew you.

Agreed... What if he tears his achillies or goes down with a season ending knee injury? He won't get a big contract after this season... Surprised he didn't sign a longer term contract...

Looks like the Seahawks signed Jarron Brown.
